From I - 81 North or South: Take Exit 191 to I - 64 West for 1 mile to Exit 55 (follow signs for VA Horse Center). Right to Route 11 North. First left to Route 39, Maury River Rd. VHC 3/4 mile on left.
From I-64 East: To Exit 55, Turn Left. Go 3/10 mile, turn left on Route 39, Maury River Rd. As above.

Wednesday: XC Course Opens 3:00 PM, Ticketed Show Jump schooling Wednesday 12-8:00 PM (buy tickets at the gate, or the tower between the Wiley/Covered).
Thursday: Dressage 8:00 (T,N,BN,ST), Opening Ceremony 6:00 PM
Friday: SJ, followed by XC 8:30 (T,N,BN,ST), Prom 7-10:00 PM
There is also a Recognized Dressage show on Friday/Saturday, an Unrecognized Dressage show Sunday, a Jumper show Thursday - Saturday, and a Hunter Derby Saturday/Sunday. To sign up for these, go on horseshowsonline.com. No one competing in Recognized dressage can compete in any additional show on that day only. Otherwise please feel free to enter more than one event!

Policy:The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($35) is not subjected
to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any
rider who does not start thedressage test or present to the first horse
inspection. Competition cancellation-No refund.

All entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. All entries will receive confirmation via e-mail. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter. Starter entrants are exempt from USEA membership and the USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. Double entries: NOT Accepted.
Refunds:Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D-No refund.
Competition cancellation – Refund if possible based on expenses.
Coggins within 12 months required for all horses. Health certificates required for all horses in accordance with state law. Non-competing horses are welcome on grounds. $50.00 per horse, plus appropriate stabling fees. Must sign waiver in office and be issued a non-competing horse number. Riding will be restricted to published times and areas.
All Withdrawals must be made in writing, postmarked, emailed, or faxed, no later than Closing Date.All changes to entry must be made in writingbefore C.D.
Any change to entry/stabling /post entries after C.D. a processing fee will be charged as detailed above.
Reminder:All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies.

USPC - Competitors who compete in the HT as USPC members on a MegaRally team will be awarded Team Overall ribbons 1st - 6th and HM ribbons in addition to the USEA ribbons.
Stabling/Veterinarian
All Horses please check in at Stabling office and show a current negative coggins test within 12 months and Health Certificate on horsetraveling over state lines.Horses requiring additional stabling nights must e-mail ahead for arrangements. ALL tack stalls $35.00 per night. HT: $35.00 per night /day We have 800 permanent stalls on grounds with stall doors provided, no initial bedding. Feed/hay/bedding available for purchase on site. All stabling requests must be in writing by closing date and additional requests or changes after CD may result in a $50 fee. Please no changes to stabling unless approved by the stable manager.

Accommodations
Complete listing of accommodations can be found on website, www.vahorsecenter.org. 1000 rooms up to 5 miles from event. Best Western Plus at Hunt Ridge 540 464 1500, Best Western Lexington Inn, 540 458 3020. Camping: The Virginia Horse Center has 78 Camping Spots with 30/50amp electric and water hookups. Reservations can be made online at [email protected] under the facilities link, as well as reservations for Golf Carts. Selection of reserved site is still first come, first served upon arrival. Camping without reservations will be permitted if there are vacancies. Questions can be directed to [email protected]or 540-464-2966. NO prepay or reservations accepted via entry form.

Other Information
Absolutely NO ATVs allowed at VHC. No motorized vehicles on the cross country course. Electric bikes and bikes are allowed on cross country (weather dependent) until the first horse goes on course. Please listen to announcements in the event of weather.

SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
GR1210 General
4. Competition management shall place a minimum of one sharps container per each competition, whether or not stabling is provided.
“Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
