Entries

Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Note: USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee; these fees should be added to your entry fee, per the itemized Fees Enclosed section of the Entry Form, totaled with the other applicable fees, and sent to the event with your entry. Use the current Horse Trials Entry and Stabling Forms. USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter/Tadpole competitors are exempt from USEA membership. Combined Test competitors must be a USEA member or pay the $25 USEA non-membership fee with entry; the USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. Double entries: accepted. Changes: $25 per horse/rider per division after C.D., space permitting all changes must be in writing via email. Post Entries: Accepted, space permitting, additional $25 fee. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.- USEA/USEF fees only - no other refunds. Competition cancellation-No refund. Other requirements: Out-of-state horses must include a copy of negative Coggins within the last 12 months. Health Certificate required for all out-of-state horses - bring health certwith you. All attachments must be included with entry. Failure to do so could result in denial of the entry. Incomplete entries will be returned. State birth date on entry. Management reserves right to combine, split, or cancel classes; cancel or add judges as entries warrant, and refuse any entries. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Stabling/Veterinarian

Stabling: Entries Received first will receive stabling priority. Please specify with entry Thursday through Sunday. If you need a non compete stall you must order stabling with your entry. Horse Trials Entries take precedence over non compete horses. Stabling Guru is Melinda Hofmeister - [email protected] $150.00 for Shade Covered/Hard Covered/Open Pipe stalls/Rodeo pens - Stall doors included with all stalls. 1st Bag of shavings included with all stalls; preorder shavings at $11.00/bag. Tack Stalls NOT available competitors may park near stabling. Limited amount of stabling on grounds. Entries received first will be given onsite priority. Non Compete horses will not be given priority stabling. Non Compete horses MUST be entered via Event Entries or Xentry. You MUST email both Secretary and Melinda Hofmeiser to confirm. No Exceptions. No unauthorized motor vehicles allowed on the XC course. Water Available via a hose at XC - Bring buckets USEA Medical Armband or Wristband must be worn, limited supply on Grounds. Bring your plastic pinny holders. Other Information: Cross-country course closed August 4 at 9pm. No horses allowed on course after August 3 at 9pm.No one may ride any horse, walk or otherwise view the cross-country course.No unauthorized motor vehicles allowed on the XC course. On XC Bring buckets to fill from the hose. USEA Medical Armband or Wristband must be worn, limited supply on Grounds. Bring your plastic pinny holders. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”. Minors who do not have a valid driver’s license which allows them to operate a motorized vehicle in the state in which they reside will not be permitted to operate a motorized vehicle of any kind, including, but not limited to, golf carts, motorcycles, scooters, or farm utility vehicles, on the competition grounds of licensed competitions. Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver’s license. The parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for penalties against those responsible for the child committing the offense. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. The unsafe use of personal electronic transport devices, as determined by the competition officials and management in their sole discretion, that do not require a driver’s license to operate, including but not limited to segways, hover boards, and single wheeled scooters is prohibited on competition grounds. Operating such devices in areas where people gather may be deemed “unsafe use” if there is a risk of harm to others. If the operator of the device is a minor, the parent/legal guardian or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating the device in violation of this rule is accountable and may be subject to penalties. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Modified Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee or agent at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR231) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.
