Stabling/Veterinarian

STABLING is limited and fills up quickly!! If you plan to stable for this event, SIGN UP EARLY. Box fans are allowed but must be heavy duty and grounded (blue plugs). ALL stabling opens 12:00 PM Wednesday. ALL arrivals prior to Wednesdayat noon must contact the show office @[email protected] to make arrangements - no exceptions! FEI Stabling: FEI Arrival exams 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday.Additional arrival exams 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Thursday, 7:00 - 09:00 AM, 12:00 to 12:30 PM Friday. All horses in FEI stabling, regardless of competition status, must follow current FEI regulations, including but not limited to: (1) Take temperature twice daily for three days prior to arrival on grounds, and record on FEI HorseApp. (2) Complete a Vet Arrival Examination before entering stabling. (3) Take temperature twice daily while on grounds and record on FEI HorseApp. (4) Report departure of horse from grounds immediately at the show office so horse can be checked out as required. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. Maryland International Equestrian Foundation (MIEF): For 2025, MIEF will award four scholarships/competition grants that are equivalent to $1,000 to riders competing at the 1*2*3*4*levels at the Maryland International (Use one application per horse/level you are applying for). The scholarships will assist by covering entry fees, stabling, as well as rider and groom/grounds person accommodations. The mission of MIEF is to promote grass roots to FEI level eventing!
