After CD, May 6, no refund, unless entry or stabling can be filled from wait list, if either are filled either will be refunded less $50 office fee. Refunds are mailed checks 30 days after the competition. Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee is not subjected to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

If you want to use your volunteer certificates, please mail certificates with a check for the difference. Volunteer certificates cannot be turned into show office for a cash refund. 2025 Horse Trials Equine Influenza and Equine Herpes Vaccination HERE!Vaccinations must be uploaded and with competitor to enter show grounds. PER USEF GR845 horses must have been vaccinated for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus within 6 months of entering show grounds! Out of State Horses: copy of Neg. Coggins required within 12 months and Certificate of Veterinary Inspection within 30 days; not required for in-state horses. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels. MODIFIED and ABOVE must send copy of USEF cards for rider, owner, and trainer. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. Starter-1500 m @ 300 mpm, max. height 2'4", 12-15 efforts. I and P courses: Above average difficulty. M, T, N, BN, Starter Average, for horses/riders with some experience at these levels. Course has more terrain than most CA courses. Cross-country courses closed May 13th at sundown.

Awards

10 ribbons per division, and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, for all levels. Modified Match 10 FEI size ribbons, $1000 prize money pot plus $100 add back per entry per division. Example: 10 riders = $1000 additional prize money.

Stabling/Veterinarian

$300/stall for all stabling from Wednesday 3 pm to Sunday. $50/additional night. Early/late stabling must be approved by Management. 400 temporary 12'x10' stalls on grounds. Stall doors (one panel) & one initial bedding only provided. Trailer In Fee - $150 for non stabled horses. Non-competing horses $100 facility use fee. Feed/bedding/hay available for purchase, Shavings @ $15/bag, please order in advance with entry. No outside feed and shavings deliveries. Veterinarian: Steinbeck Equine, number posted at show office. Trailer Parking Policy: Trailer parking is extremely tight; you will not be able plan on tacking up horses at your trailer or to put awnings out. Tack stalls or tack trucks are HIGHLY recommended. All parking must be done with attendant guidance. Thank you all for your assistance in helping us keep the parking organized. All barns are 12' deep x 10' wide with rubber mats, LED lighting, and all hardware needed for hanging buckets, feed and hay bags. Any damage done to canvas or new permanent stalls will be billed directly to rider of horse. New Stalls in North Barns. Please do not alter to change stall configuration.

Dogs must be leashed- a $100 fine will be assessed for any dogs not on a leash and yellow warning card issued. Team Competition: Teams of 3/4, best 3 scores to count, all team members at same level. $5/ team member. Party: Thursday Welcome Reception, 5:30 PM; Saturday Competitor's Modified Match Dinner, 6:00 PM: $50/ticket, one included with entry. Modified Match:Created to spotlight the Modified Riders & Horses. They will compete in a long court Dressage Test with two judges on Friday, Cross-Country on Saturday morning and concludes Saturday evening with Show Jumping in front of the ringside crowd at the Modified Match Dinner. $1,000 prize money each division with $100 add back per entry. FEI style ribbons & prizes! SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted.
