Exit 3 is currently preferable to Exit 2, due to need for bridge repair. From I‑89: Exit 3. Left off ramp to Rt. 107 ‑ 1/4 mile to Rt. 14. Turn right on Rt. 14 South. Turn right onto Royalton Hill Rd. Fox Stand, downhill, cross RR tracks & bridge & immediately turn left. Go 1 mile; becomes a dirt road. Turn left onto Back River Road. Go 1 mile; HPF on left.

USEF Waivers must be signed. Entry forms must be signed by rider, trainer, owner, coach and parent if applicable. Fees

Event Fees Directory: Draw checks to Hitching Post Farm. Entry: All divisions:$250.00 per division before closing date, $275.00 per division after closing date. 8 Ribbons and vouchers for future events or schooling at HPF. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/Stabling-No refund. All refunds must be requested via email. Competition cancellation-No refund. USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($35) is not subjected to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

All courses: Friendly early season courses at all levels, however hilly terrain does offer challenges. Jumps are varied and consist of logs, portables, new MIMs technology jumps, water and ditches at all levels but starter. Cross country course closed May 1. Schooling is permitted before May 1 weather permitting.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Veterinarian:Fieldstone Equine Clinic 802-649-1110 Stabling:Limited stabling onsite. $65 per night, stalls must be cleaned and vacated by 5 pm so Sunday competitors can move in. Stall doors provided, please bring bedding.

Royalton B and B is 1/2 mile from Hitching Post and offers several room options. Call or Text Evelyn Saenz at 305-491-7083 ( you can check it out on air bnb to see photos/read reviews) Also search air bnb in South Royalton and look for Roma and Russell, they are a mile away and offer a private room and a yurt. The Hop House is on site, text Dorothy Rikert at 802-356-1992 or find it on Air BNB.Additionally, lots of places on AirBNB in the So Royalton area. They book fast, so book early! Quechee/White River Junction VT/Lebanon/Hanover NH within 30 minutes with hotels, restaurants and shopping.

Cross‑country course closed May 1. All dogs must be on leashes. Levels may be further divided/combined if entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. We offer delicious food on grounds! Some of the best event food ever at Farmhouse Catering. Open for breakfast half an hour before event start. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
