Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. Use 2020 USEA Entry Form. Electronic entries accepted thruwww.evententries.comandUSEA Xentry. USEA membership and horse registration required for all recognized HT levels. Elementary level exempt.Plastic bib pennies will be used. Refunds:Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Stabling-In full. Only mail or email withdrawals will be accepted (no phone withdrawals). Competition cancellation- after event expenses or in lieu of offers at organizer's discretion.

aftermarket sale, trade or swap of entries is expressly forbidden without prior
approval of the organizer and all appropriate late and/or change fees being

Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.

Other Information
The event is run on a state park. The park will charge an entrance fee (at time of publication fee is $3 per person for MD residents and $5 per person for out of state) for all entering the park, including spectators etc. Entrance fee for competitors and volunteers will be covered by Marlborough Horse Trials.We apologize in advance for this inconvenience but this is beyond our control as event management.

Safety vest, proper footwear and helmet must be worn. No vest, no helmet-no school. All riders must be accompanied by either a ground person on foot or by at least one other rider – no single riders schooling.

SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
