Thurs:Dressage & Show Jumping Schooling Tests 11-3:00 Sign up will be available via Sign Up Genuis website, Monday, September 9th. Hacking around dressage rings will be permitted, but to go into a ring, you must sign up for a practice test. Cross-country course open-3 pm. Fri: 8am Dressage. Sat:9amCross-country. Pre-Comp/Tadpole/Amoeba Dressage & Arena Derby. Awards following Derby divisions. Sun: 8:30am Show Jumping; I/P-Starter, reverse order of standing, awards to follow each division.

Stabling: $145. Pre-Comp/Tadpole/Amoeba includes one night/day outdoor paddock without shavings or haul in fee. Additional outdoor paddock nights: $45/night Shavings:$14 per bag, 1 initial bag provided with stall.Haul In Fee: $30 for the weekend.
RV Hook Up:$35 per night, limited number available. Priority will be assigned to first entries received.
Competitor Party:One ticket included with each entry;additional tickets available at the office for $25 a piece.
Refund Policy:Before the closing date, less $25 office fee, stabling in full. After the closing date, less $50 if your spot can be filled from a waiting list, if not filled no refund. Competition cancellation, no refund. If refunded it will be mailed via check within a month of the Horse Trials.USEA Starter/ D&M Fee Refund Policy:The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30) is not subjected to office fees andshall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entries

Electronic entries will be accepted at https://services.useventing.com/. All entries include a $25 non-refundable office fee. Entries are not complete without payment. - Checks payable to Skyline Eventing. - Late fee-entering after closing date, $50. - Returned check charge: $50. - Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for out-of-state horses. - Out-of-state horses MUST have a health certificate for entry into the state of Utah. Proof of Vaccination require per USEF GR845, all horses must have their vaccine records for Equine Influenza and Equine Herpes Virus with 6 months of entrance to show grounds. Submitted here:2024 Horse Trials Equine Influenza and Equine Herpes Vaccination.Temperatures are to be taken twice a day 3 days prior to arrival and while on site. Thoroughbred Incentive Program ("TIP") prizes available at each level. Submit your horses TIP number with your entry to qualify. Reminder:All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found atwww.usef.org. Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Modified Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee or agent at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR231) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.

N: 2000m@ 375 mpm. BN:1900m @ 350 mpm. Starter: 1700m @ 300 mpm, 2'3" height. Pre-Comp Derby:Arena Derby 2', mixture of show jumps and solid inviting cross-country jumps. 8-12 jumps.Tadpole Derby: Arena Derby 18", mixture of show jumps and solid inviting cross-country jumps. 8-12 jumps.AmoebaDerby:Arena Derby less than 12", mixture of cross-rail show jumps and solid inviting logs. 8-12 jumps. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at this level, comparable to courses in the western US. High desert ground with set, groomed tracks. Stabling/Veterinarian

76 covered pipe panel stalls, will be assigned first come first serve, and with preference to large trainer groups. 150 uncovered pipe panel stalls. Stall doors provided. Please indicate if you do not desire inside stabling. Initial bag of shavings provided, additional shavings available for purchase at office for $14 a bag.Veterinarian: TBD, # posted at the show office.

RV hookups available, $35/night- limited number, assigned based on order in which your entry is received. Horseshoe Mountain Lodge- Mt. Pleasant (435) 462-9330, 1 mile. Willow Creek Inn- Ephraim (877) 283-4566, 15 miles. Skyline Motel- Fairview (435) 427-3312, 10 miles. There are also many Bed and Breakfasts in the area.

SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith." Cross Country course closed September 1, 2024 at dusk. If this date changes, updates will be posted on Skyline's Facebook page. We ask that stalls are stripped prior to leaving the facility. All dogs must be leashed- $100 fine for loose dogs, payable to the cross-country course fund. Food available on grounds. Show Jumping is on Sand Footing. Thursday Dressage and Show Jumping Schooling Tests will be available for sign up on September 9 online. Please use sharps containers incorrendence with USEF rules.
