From Albuquerque: I-25 south, Exit US 70 (Exit 6) Turn East (left) 6 miles to Holman/Dunn Road Exit, Turn North (left), proceed north on Holman for 3.5 miles, turn Left on County Road D-066, look for Isaacks Ranch Sign across from the entrance of county road. There are 3 orange balls on the telephone wires above the entrance of the county road. Follow dirt road to stables entranced and check in. From Arizona: I-10 to I-25 north, Exit Hwy 70 (Exit 6) continue as above. From Alamogordo:Hwy-70 West, Exit Holman/Dunn Road, continue as above. Directions may also be looked up on Google maps. NOTE: County Road D-066 and Cattleguard trail are the same road.

USEA Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($25), are not
subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the
competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Intro competitors are exempt from USEA
membership/non-membership fees and USEA Starter Drugs/Meds Fees.
Entries
Entry limit of 80. Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. A USEA current membership (Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Full or Limited) are required at all levels, except Intro. Intro participants are exempt from USEA membership and USEA Starter/D&M fees do not apply. Entries received after closing date, a late fee of $50. Changes after C.D. $25. Entries after C.D. $75 late fee. Returned checks $75. Riders must provide their own cross country number holder, Isaacks Ranch uses paper pinny numbers. $50 – Stall cleaning deposit (separate check) Register and Pay online at Xentry.com Stadium Jump Test will begin Friday at 10 am, lowest to highest with course set. Email event secretary [email protected] to sign up in advance, $35 per test. Negative Coggins required within 12 months and documentation showing vaccinations for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus (rhinopneumonitis) within 6 months. Copy of current Neg. Coggins must accompany entry. Submitted entries not paid by closing date will not be included in the ride times. Cross-country schooling available after the competition thru Sunday evening for $45 per horse, check with secretary prior to schooling, Trainer must be present. All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.

Tentative Distances:T: – 2400m @ 420 mpm, N: – 2200m @ 400 mpm, BN: – 2000 - @ 350 mpm, Starter:– 1800m @ 325 mpm,Intro: – 1600 m @ 300 mpm - 12 fences, no water or bank, max fence height 2'. Courses: All courses located in the flat open desert terrain with mesquite trees, yuccas, and cactus with a caliche/sand mix as the footing. All tracks have new or updated jumps and are designed to be a nice introductory to each level with good progression and questions. Cross-country course closed September 9th, 2024 at 5pm. Elevation is about 3900 feet.No unauthorized motorized vehicles on the cross-country course. E-BIKES do not ride down the center of the groomed tracks. Non-compete horses that paid stabling and the $100 non-compete fee will include Cross-country schooling.

Stabling/Veterinarian
Limit, 80 permanent stalls on show grounds, 10 x 10, 3-sided wood with pipe front and roof. $200/stall Thursday, October 11th 8 am- Monday October 14th 8 pm. Additional days before or after event for $25/day. There is a $50 deposit for stall cleaning (separate check) You must clean your stall before you leave. PLEASE put manure 3 feet in front of the stall door. You must clean your stall to receive refund. Grounds fee for Horse Trials entries, not stabling, $100. Stall doors and & 1 bag of bedding provided. Additional shavings may be purchased for $10/bag, please Pre-order/Pre-pay extra shavings (will be delivered to stall). NO Hay in the trash cans, NO trash in manure piles.
Camping: Dry Camping permitted – trailer/tent/ $25, no showers, no hook-ups, no waste dump.
Veterinarian: contact info will be posted at the stables and scoreboards. On-call Friday, on-site all-day Saturday and Sunday.
Farrier: On-call Friday, on-site all-day Saturday and Sunday. Contact info located in stables area and scoreboards.

Other Information
There is a working cattle ranch bordering the cross-country course, cows may be present. Food Truck on grounds Friday, Saturday, Sunday. DOGS MUST BE LEASHED and controlled, $100 donation to the cross-country course. Silent Auction under office. NO Unauthorized Vehicles on the cross country course.
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
“Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
