USEA membership is optional for starter division. Late Entry Fee: $50 Changes after closing date $50 fee. Stabling: $260; Tack Stall $250; Grounds Fee: $100 (non-stabled horses). Stabling is from 1 pm Friday thru Sunday. One Bag initial shavings provided; shavings/$10 per bag. $30 MUCK FEE, separate check payable to fox River Valley Pony Club. Permanent stalls should be cleaned and temporary stalls are to be stripped. Entries

Entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. $50 NSF fee. Stabling is Friday 1 pm - thru Sunday. Double entries: Not accepted.All horses and riders, with the exception of the Starter division, must have a current USEA number. USEA membership is optional for starter division.

A Copy of neg. Coggins dated within 12 months of competition, must be mailed to the secretary. All out of state horses must have health certificate dated within 30 days of competition date. All horses need to be current with vaccination records per USEF GR844 Equine vaccination Rule. FRVPC and BHPD releases must be mailed to Sec. or provided at check in. SHOW PASS FEE: Effective 12-1-2022 any rider, handler, driver, or owner are limited to one show pass purchase annually (December1 - November 1). USEF show Pass will be available for purchase by exhibitors on-line only. Competitions should not accept payment for show pass fees and therefore this fee should not appear on the entry blank. Individuals, including parents who are signing as trainer on behalf of a minor, who are participating as a trainer of coach are not eligible for a show pass and must obtain a Senior Competing membership to participate in a USEF -licensed competition.

Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. IEL Team Challenge: This event will be hosting an IEL Team Challenge. Average difficulty for horses with some experience at these levels.

Show Jumping: Arena-Natural turf footing, Warm up-grass approx. 20,000 sq. ft, sand approx. 15,000 sq. ft. Cross country maintenance program is ongoing. We are continually developing new tracks, aerovating and seeding, and adding new jumps at each level. Please refrain from schooling when the ground is soft and wet! We areprivilegedto be able to use the Spring Creek Forest Preserve of Cook County. Please respect their regulations: ABSOLUTELY NOUNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES ON CROSS COUNTRY COURSE. NO BIKES ON COURSE. NO GOLF CARTS ON COURSE UNLESS OPERATED BY FRVPC HT PERSONNEL andALL GOLF CART DRIVERS MUST HOLD VALID LICENSE.NO CAMPING on Forest Preserve Property, NO CAMPERS,TENTS OR FIRES ALLOWED. ALL DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AND PLEASE CLEAN UP MESSES. Dogs: Show grounds are stressful for many dogs and their presence is discouraged; if present, must be controlled andleashed.Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals, must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs' behaviors. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR231) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
Levels may be eliminated/divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and include birth date on entry.
No matter what level you ride, you must submit the 2023 Entry form signature page signed by rider, owner/agent and trainer.
