LATE FEES: after closing date and thru June 3 = $50; after June 3 (if space permits) = $100. All fees must be received by Secretary before ride times will be assigned!Late Fees apply to any entries postmarked or submitted electronically after May 28, 2024. The selling of entries is not permitted.

Stabling:No sponsored stabling; check website for list of local barns who are willing to provide stabling.

Refunds:All entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. Before close date - full refund minus $25 office fee. After close date - less $75 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list.If there is no wait list, there will be no refunds.

Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30) is not subject to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Competition cancellation-refunds or rebates will be provided - amount will be determined after payment of expenses.

Incomplete entries (including failure to pay all fees) subject to late fees if not completed by close date and will be put on wait list;incomplete entries will not be scheduled. We will NOT ACCEPT an entry unless/until the following has been submitted: Entry form, both USEF waivers signed by ALL applicable parties, negative coggins and entry fee. Cross-country competition course closed after May 28,2024. Competition course open for public schooling only on scheduled schooling days (check website for dates of Open Schooling).. Riders may be limited on number of horses for entire event. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Limited water available on grounds, but advisable to bring your own as water tanks may not be convenient to your trailer! A sharps container will be available at the secretary's stand. Food service on grounds. Dogs must be leashed. No non-competing horses on grounds; no hacking out on grounds prior to competition date. No motorbikes on X-C while horses are on course. Please follow instructions from parking attendants for trailer parking. ADULT TEAM CHALLENGETeams of four riders will compete for prizes provided by Area 2 Adult Riders.You must be a member of your Area Adult Rider Program to compete.If you are not already an Adult Rider Program member, you can join the program via the USEA dashboard. If you cannot field a team, we will do our best to create a team for you. Send individual and team names to the Area 2 Adult Rider Co-Coordinators at[email protected]no later than closing date. You will ride at your scheduled day/time for individual placement and teams will be scored separately. Teams will be formed by mixed levels and awards will be presented after the last team member finishes their ride. INTERSCHOLASTIC TEAM CHALLENGEfor riders who are in the 5th - 12th grades. SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS 1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR. a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Modified Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A non-member may participate as a handler, rider, driver, owner, lessee or agent at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR231) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes. “Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
