Entry Fees: M, T, N, BN, S& Intro = $395 if payment is postmarked on or before Closing Date; $450 if payment ispostmarked after Closing Date. Stabling and two bags ofinitial shavings are included with your entry.CT-$280 includingstabling with two
bags of shavings for the weekend. Max two CT per horse. No cross entry from CT to HT
allowed for the horse. Entries postmarked before April 2nd will have an additional week to withdraw.
No Trailer-in allowed at the NEC - all horses must be stabled.
Shavings= $12.00/ bag FYI these bags seem to run small from past experience with the NEC. No outside shavings are allowed.The NEC will charge you a very large fine for outside shavings.
Tack Stall= $150.00.
Arrive Early Stall Day Rate= $52/Night.
Non-competing horse = $200/weekend.

Entries
Entry fees includes a $25 non-refundable office
fee.Double entries are not accepted. All
competitors must be USEA members, except Starter. Riders will be limited to
two horses per division. $40 charge for checks returned for non-sufficient funds.
Entry limit 150. Levels may be divided as entries warrant. State your preferences under the Eligibility Section and include birth date on entry.
Refunds:Refunds will be provided, less the $25 non-refundable office fee, if receivedbefore 9:00 p.m. CST on Closing Date. Please notify the Secretary by e-mail; (No voicemail will be accepted). After 9:00 p.m. CST on Closing Date, No Refunds! Complete Entries postmarked before April 2nd will have until May 1st to withdraw.
Competition Cancellation = No refunds.
USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy:USEA fee ($30) is not subject to office fees and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition.
Riders competing at the Modified level will also be responsible for paying the $8.00 USEF Administration Fee when entering the event.
Riders, owners, and trainerscompeting at the Modified level need to register with the USEF and complete SafeSport training. If a rider or owner competing at the Modified level does not wish to register with the USEF, they have the option of paying the $45.00 USEF Show Pass fee at the event: A show pass fee will only be issued once.Trainers are required to register with the USEF; paying of the Show Pass fee does not apply.
Horses do not have to be registered with the USEF to compete at the Modified level.
All CT riders, regardless of level, need to be a member of USEA or pay the $25 non-memberfee with entry.
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.
The Combined Tests include Dressage and Show Jumping and will run on Saturday in conjunction with the Horse Trials. To enter a combined test, please note "Combined Test" on entry form.

NEW XC Designer bringing new tracks and obstacles! GREAT course to start the 2024 season!Open galloping terrain with one big hill. All courses:varied terrain; gently rolling hills with excellent galloping tracks. Expect, but does not guarantee, water, banks, and ditches at all levels.
Park on grass lots. No parking on the paved parking lot. Please clean up any manure not on grass.

For HT: 8 ribbons per division;Prizes 1st - 3rd place!
For CT: 6 ribbons per division;Prize for 1st place.
The Jockey Club's Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.)awards High Point and Reserve ribbons and cash for top score at each level. More information at www.tjctip.com.
School Horse award, donated by Hummingbird Stables, will be awarded to the highest placed (lowest score) lesson horse in the HT.
North by Northwest Award for the lowest Dressage Score at the Horse Trials in Beginner Novice and Starter Divisions.
Autos of Europe Award for the Highest score at each level of Horse Trials.
Hunt Horse Award for the lowest scoring hunt horse in the Horse Trials.
Stabling/Veterinarian
STABLING:Stalls available from 9:30 a.m. Friday to Monday 9:00 a.m. are included in your entry. If you want to arrive before that, a charge of $52/day will need to be paid in advance. If you need to stay Sunday evening, or arrive before Friday, please make prior arrangements with Secretary. All stalls are approximately 10' by 10' and will include a stall door, electric outlet for one box fan and two bags of initial shavings. $150/Tack Stall. Pre-order extra shavings with your entry for $12/bag. All pre-ordered shavings will be in your stall before arrival. When at the NEC, all shaving must be purchased through the NEC office and will have a higher price. Please note: the NEC office usually closes at 4 p.m. No outside shavings are allowed. The NEC will charge you a very large fine for using other shavings!
Cutoffdate for pre-ordering shavings is May 1st. After that, all shavings must be ordered from the NEC at their current rate.
Due to insurance issues no one can tie to the trailer at the NEC. If the NEC catches you will be fined a $100.00 fee per occurrence.

Dressage
All tests will be ridden in a small arena on all-weather footing. Tests: M = 2022 USEF Modified Test B.T 2022 USEF Training Test B.N = 2022 USEF Novice Test B.BN= 2022 USEF Beginner Novice Test B.Starter = 2022 USEA Starter Test, Intro CT Dressage Test USDF Intro Test B.
CT Dressage tests will be the same as the HT tests. Divisions will run highest to lowest jump height.

Non-Competing horses must be assigned a number, and arrangements must be made prior to the show with the Secretary. Fee is $200.
Dogs must be leashed under NEC and St. Louis County Park Ordinances. Park Rangers will be there to enforce rules.
The Cross-Countrycourse is about 1/2 mile or 20-minutewalk from Secretary Tent.
Competitors and Trainers are welcome to bring their own golf carts to Queeny Park. No 4 wheelers or motorized bikes allowed.
QPEE will provide shuttles on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from the parking lot to the Cross-Country venue.
At Queeny Park, any manure or trash on trails, etc. needs to be cleaned up.
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
