Payment required for entry! Entries submitted online but not paid will not be entereduntil payment received. We will adhere to this policy because of previous difficulty. HIGHLY encourage online submission of entry with payment or immediate mailing of the check. Entries accepted after closing date will be assessed the post entry fee of $50 May 1-May 7, May 7 to event $100 (this includes checks received after closing date for entries completed online before CD).
Refunds: Before C.D. - Refund less $25.00 non-refundable processing fee; After C.D. - Refund less $50.00 cancellation fee ONLY if place can be filled from wait list for that division. Refunds will be mailed within 30 days of the competition. Competition cancellation - No refund.The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30) will be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.
Entries
USEA and USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee and
must be paid as provided on entry form. Double entries: Not accepted. USEA current membership (Junior, collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (limited or Full) are required at all levels including starter. All division/horse/rider changes will be assessed a $25 fee made after closing date.
Neg. Coggins and Health Certificate required for out-of-state horses within 12 months.
All horses must have their Equine vaccine records submitted with entry and with them to enter show grounds. PER USEF GR845 horses must have been vaccinated for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus within 6 months of entering show grounds!Inability to furnish proof of vaccination, health certificate or coggins (if needed), may results in disqualification and removal from the grounds without return of entry fees.2024 Horse Trials Equine Influenza and Equine Herpes Vaccination (cognitoforms.com)

Special awards (1) oldest horse and rider combo (2) youngest horse and rider combo (3) first recognized event participation for rider (4) breed organization sponsored awards (5) Coach/trainer recognition for the one represented by the most students competing on teams. Special Awards & teams need to be signed up for at the show before Friday.

Team Challenge- ribbons to 3rd place. Mixed teams of 3 or 4, 3 best scores to count. Team must contain 1 rider Prelim or above and 1 amateur rider. $5/rider team fee must be paid in full by start of level to qualify for awards. Area VII adult riders may offer awards as well. Individuals are responsible to sign up in show office for any awards or teams before the start of the competition.Everyone please plan to visit show office to receive their awards--prizes to sixth all divisions -- not just that beautiful ribbon.

(noon Wed-Mon am). Tack stalls may be available $205 for the weekend. Initial bedding provided
additional available for purchase, $14/bale. Stalls may not be altered in
any manner. Horses hauling in for the show must pay the $40.00 grounds fee per horse.

Levels may be divided/combined/cancelled if entries warrant: state preferences (novice horse, novice rider but multiple horses may be placed in different divisions for scheduling ease) under eligible section and birth date on entry. Juniors and young riders will have a combined division if possible at each level. Several Food vendors on grounds.
Dogs must be leashed on a non-retractable leash and kept away from all arenas including the cross-country course during competition. Any loose dogs will pay a $50.00 donation & will be issued a yellow card. Please clean up after your dog on the grounds and cross-country course.
Show Jumping footing is sand and rubber footing.
Thursday Schooling Dressage and Show Jumping Tests will have an online sign-up starting May 13th.
SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
Please use sharps containers in barns per USEF rules.
SSHF reserves the right to refuse entries per USEF GR Rule 913.
“Every class offered herein which is covered by the rules and specifications of the current USEF rulebook will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith”.
