From Dallas: I-45 S to Richland (Hwy 14) thru Mexia & Groesbeck to Kosse. Continue South on Hwy 14 2 miles to gates on left.
From Hwy 6/Bryan-College Station: Hwy 6 north through Calvert. Take Hwy 14 north through Bremond. 6 miles after Bremond, gates on right.

USEA Starter/D&M Fee Refund Policy: The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30), is not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entry feesinclude a $25 non-refundable office fee. All P entries, owners and agents must show proof of USEF membership, or pay $45 USEF Show Passfee.USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter.

Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. All entries must have three signatures.
NOTE: Pinny holders REQUIRED.
Area V Late Fee Policy: Entries postmarked after CDwill be charged a $75 late fee. Entries are not considered accepted or complete until payment, coggins and signatures are received.
Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. More information about these can be found at www.usef.org.

Distances and speeds are approximately: P-3000 m @ 520 mpm. PT/T-2400 m @ 450 mpm. N-2000 m @ 400 mpm. BN-1600 m @ 350 mpm. Starter-1000m @ 300 mpm, avg height 2'. All courses: Designed to prepare horse and rider for the upcoming competitionschedule. Nice balance of galloping fences and technical questions. All courses average for horses with some experience at these levels. New tracks, new questions, new jumps, and aeravated footing on all courses. Cross-country course closed April 1. Exact distances and times will be posted on grounds.
Awards
Ribbons 1st-6th per division and dressage ribbons 1-6 per division. P/PT and all divisions with less than 5 entries may receive alternative awards.

Stabling/Veterinarian
Limited. $135.00/stall from Friday 8am thru Sunday eve.146 permanent stalls on grounds. Size varies from 10x10 to 12x12. Stall doors &1 bag of shavings provided.Additionalstabling days/nights available,stabling$45/day, arrange in advance. Early arrival on Thurs / layover arrange with Kaitlyn.
NO OUTSIDE SHAVINGS ALLOWED!!! Additional bedding available for purchase -pre-order in advance on entry, or upon arrival in show office - $11/bag. Tack stalls, if available $135.00.
Stall assignments will be posted on website - check list and map for which entrance gate to use!
Veterinarian /Farrier: # will be posted at scoreboard and listed on website.
Accommodations
Host Hotel: Quality Inn of Groesbeck - mention MCP for a special rate. 254-729-0077.
Several other hotels within 15-20 minute drive in Groesbeck, Marlin, Franklin and Marquez.
Camping (RV hookups): $45/night (water & electric). Pull through dump open! Dumping included in hook up fee.
RV/Generator camping on grounds without hookup: $10/night including dump fee. Primitive/tent camping, no charge.

SUBCHAPTER EV-9 DRESS
1. PROTECTIVE HEADGEAR.
a. At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801)
b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801.
