As of March 6, 2024 Texas has confirmed three cases of EHM near Austin Texas.  As a result Pine Hill will now require competitors to provide their horse’s vaccine records.  Please email this to the show secretary: [email protected] AND bring a copy to the show. PER USEF GR844 horses must have been vaccinated for Equine Influenza Virus and Equine Herpes Virus within 6 months of entering show grounds! 

Also--Temperature Log for 3 days prior to arrival will be required for entry to facility and kept twice daily on site.

Address: 1720 Hwy 159 East, Bellville, TX 77418.From I‑10: Exit 720 off I-10 at Sealy (Hwy 36). North on Hwy 36 thru Sealy 12 miles, to Bellville. Turn right at 2nd stoplight in Bellville to Hwy 159. Proceed over tracks towards Hempstead. Entrance from Hwy 1.2 mi., from tracks on left. Via Hwy 290.From Hempstead: Take Hwy 159 W. out of Hempstead toward Bellville. About 12 miles after crossing the river look for a state rest area on the right. The farm entrance will be on the right one mile past the rest area. From Rt. 290 (from Brenham): Hwy 36 south thru Bellville (around the Court House). Proceed thru the traffic light over the tracks to Hwy 159 towards Hempstead. Entrance from Hwy 159 1.2 miles from tracks on left.

Fees

Draw checks to Pine Hill. Entry: All Horse Trial divisions: $300.00. Stabling: $100.00. Electrical Hookups/Camping: $60.00 electric only. Refund Policy: Before C.D.‑ Entry/stabling less $20 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.‑Entry less $30 with vet's or Dr.'s certificate & ONLY if place can be filled from wait list/Stabling-No refund. The USEA Starter/D&M fee ($30), is not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test.

Entry fees include a $20 non-refundable office fee. USEAcurrent membership(Junior, Collegiate, Full, or Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels, except Starter. Starter participants are exempt from USEA membership and horse registration; USEA Starter/D&M fee does not apply. Double Entries-Accepted, no fee. Any entry change received after the C.D. will be charged a non-refundable $75 post C.D. fee. P/YR competitors who are not USEF members must pay extra $45 with entry. $10=Lost pinny/No deposit required. Reminder: All USEF Life and Senior Active members, as well as participants who have regular contact with minor athletes, are required to comply with the U.S. Center for SafeSport training requirement, to be eligible to participate in the competition. All participants must adhere to the U.S. Center for SafeSport Code, USEF Safe Sport Policy, and the Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policies. OP-Straight forward inviting introduction to the level. OT and ON---Introduces some technical questions in an encouraging setting--great for horses that have some experience at this level. BN and Starter---Inviting, straight forward courses that are good for those just starting at the level. Cross‑country course closed on March 31, 2023.

Stabling/Veterinarian

Limited. $100/stall Noon Friday to Noon Monday. Assigned first come, first served basis as entries are received. PLEASE sign up early if you wish to have on grounds stabling! 68 temporary (12 X 12) with 1/2 door and 10 permanent (5 of these are 14 X12 and 5 are 12X12) all of the permanent stalls have full doors Veterinarian:On call Friday, April 5, and On grounds Saturday, April 6, Dr. Rolf Modesto, Becker Equine, (936) 577-2059 (cell), (936) 931-4478 (Clinic). #'s will be posted in program, on stalls cards & at secy's office. Phone for emergency use at secy's area. Farrier: Mark Hendricks---on call Friday April 5 and on grounds April 6. Competition management may fine any individual up to $100 for improper disposal of needles or other sharp disposable instruments.

At Federation licensed and endorsed Events, Athletes must wear headgear as follows, except as may otherwise be mandated by local law (see also GR801) b. Upon arrival, anyone riding a Horse must wear properly fitting protective headgear. The harness must be secured and properly fitted. See GR801. Competition Management will have Sharps containers at the stabling areas.
