We are sad to report that World Equestrian Brands/ USEA Rider of the Year, Buck Davidson, has lost his CCI2* partner, Santa's Keeper. The black Thoroughbred gelding suffered a leg injury earlier this month, and his condition deteriorated. Our thoughts are with Buck and the gelding's owners, Carl and Cassie Segal, who bought "Simon" for Buck off the Keeneland racetrack as a Christmas gift when the gelding was a 3-year-old.
