USEA Now Accepting Nominees for the 2012 Eventing Hall of Fame

Authored By: USEA
Everyone inducted into the Eventing Hall of Fame receives a bronze statue to commemorate the occasion.

This December during the Annual Meeting and Convention in Colorado Springs, Colorado a new group of people and horses will be inducted into the Eventing Hall of Fame. The USEA is now asking our members to send in their nominations for candidates who they believe are worthy of joining the select group of Eventing Hall of Fame members.

The established guidelines for selection are as follows:

Qualifications for Nomination: Those persons and/or equines who have made a difference to the sport of eventing (i.e. Past Presidents, volunteers, riders, founding fathers, course designers, officials, organizers, horses, horse owners, coaches)

Criteria

The Screening Committee will research and screen nominations following selection guidelines and criteria. A ballot listing of proposed Eventing Hall of Fame inductees will be put before the Board of Governors for their approval at their August meeting.

The Induction will take place at the Eventing Hall of Fame Dinner at the USEA Annual Meeting and Convention in Colorado Springs, Colorado, December 8, 2012.
