We are officially one month away from our yearly gathering of USEA members. The 2016 Annual Meeting and Convention will take place December 7-11, 2016 at the Diplomat Spa and Resort in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Skip the early winter chill and join us in sunny Fort Lauderdale for a long weekend of discussion, learning and celebrating the sport we all love.
This year’s Convention is unique with a heightened focus on the adult amateur, the tireless supporters of eventing. Amateurs are the backbone of our sport. Not only the largest proportion of USEA members, but they are also often times the volunteers, behind-the-scenes supporters and smiling faces who keep U.S. eventing growing and functioning at its best. If you aren’t an adult amateur, you know one. They are balancing working with eventing because of their love for the sport. Amateurs, we salute you!
The schedule is jam-packed with activities. You won’t want to miss this year’s keynote speaker, William Fox-Pitt, on Saturday, or the Richard Jeffery show jumping clinic on Wednesday. Of course there is also the Board of Governors Beachfront Welcome Reception on Thursday, and the year-end Awards Banquet on Saturday. There will be a plethora of learning opportunities including topics on safety, grassroots eventing, the new Volunteer Incentive Program and much more! Find a complete schedule here.
Rooms at the resort are beginning to fill, so don’t forget to book with the USEA room block. Click here for our Booking Website or use our call our Reservations Line (855) 689-2911. Group Code GUSEA.
