There was a moment of tension in the final veterinary inspection of the Adequan/FEI North American Junior & Young Rider Championships when overnight second-placed CH-J* horse, Indie, was sent to the hold box, but upon reinspection he was accepted and will move forward to show jumping with Sloane Pierpont representing Area II.

Mojo (ridden by Sophie Tice) for Area VI was also sent to the hold box, but passed upon reinspection.

In the CICOY2*, Emily Thompson’s Canadian Team mount Paddington was held, but was also accepted after his second presentation to the Ground Jury.

All 47 NAJYRC horses that completed cross-country have passed the final veterinary inspection and will move onto show jumping today. The CH-J* will tackle Chris Barnard’s show jumping course at 10:00 am (MST) this morning, and the CICOY2* will begin at 12:30 pm (MST).
