All Horses in Jersey Fresh International CCI3* Pass Final Horse Inspection; One Not Accepted in CIC3*

The 19 remaining horses in the CCI3* all passed the final horse inspection this morning at the 2018 Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event. In the CIC3*, Sandro’s Star, ridden by Chris Talley, and Get Lucky, ridden by Matt Flynn, were both sent to the hold box by the ground jury of Andrew Bennie (NZL), Jane Hamlin (USA), and Gretchen Butts (USA). Sandro’s Star was passed upon reinspection, but Get Lucky was not accepted.

All 17 of the horses in the CCI2* were passed by the ground jury of Mark Weissbecker (USA) and Robert Stevenson (USA). In the CIC2*, Volcan de Caverie, ridden by Jan Bynny, and Bruisyard Hall, ridden by Holly Payne Caravella, were both held but passed after representing. Cinco de Mayo, ridden by Ashely Kehoe, was not accepted. Will Coleman withdrew Boris O'Hara from the CIC2* prior to the final horse inspection.

Show jumping kicked off this morning at 10:00 a.m. with the CIC2*. The CIC3* will begin at approximately 12:30 p.m., followed by the CCI3* at 2:00 p.m. and the CCI2* at 3:00 p.m. You can follow along with the live scores by clicking here, and stay tuned to the USEA’s social media from coverage of today’s competition.
