An early morning fire at Area IX Chair Martha McDowell’s High Plains Stables in Billings, Montana on April 23, 2012 took the lives of 19 beloved horses. The entire facility in addition to Martha’s and her boarder’s equipment was lost. Relief funds have been set up to assist those affected, and there are several different ways to help.
