Course Builders/Designers Information

The Course Designer is responsible for the layout measurement, preparation, and marking of the route for the Cross-Country Test of Horse Trials and Events. The Course Designer is responsible for the design and construction of all obstacles used in the course, but will often be assisted by a course builder to construct the fences.

The following extraordinary rule change proposal regarding safety flags was approved by the USEF Eventing Technical Committee and will be presented on June 18th to the USEF Executive Committee for adoption into the Rules for Eventing. If passed the rule would go into effect August 1.
