Education & Resources The USEA offers a wide variety of educational opportunities to its members. Each year the USEA sanctions dozens of clinics and other educational activities for all levels. The new USEA Instructor Certification Program (ICP) is a bold and innovative program aimed at increasing the quality of instruction across the nation by offering training and certification seminars in a multitude of locations throughout the year. The Training Program for Eventing Officials (TPEO) and Continuing Education Opportunities for Licensed Officials provide for the quality and competency required to ensure safe and fair competition. The recipients of the 2012 Worth the Trust Scholarships were announced at the USEA Awards Dinner on December 10. the USEA was pleased to award the Young Adult Scholarship to Lucy Gordon of Mount Sidney, Virginia and the Adult Amateur Scholarship to Erica (December 16, 2011) The Worth the Trust Educational Scholarships reward up-and-coming eventers by helping to fund their training—clinics, working student opportunities, private, or group instruction. In addition, learning to officiate, working with a Course Designer, Techni (October 12, 2011) Due to the recent Equine Herpesvirus (EVH-1) outbreak, the Coconino Horse Trails organizing committee has rescheduled the USEA Coconino Cross Country Schooling Fundraiser to June 25-26, 2011.
