PAPER NUMBER PINNIES will be in effect for cross country. Riders must bring pinny holders with them.
PAYMENT: All entry fees must be in US funds; checks must be US checks or money orders from US banks; no foreign checks. All monies paid between July 9th and July 16th must be in form of credit card/money order/cash/cashiers check (no exceptions). Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee; office fee will be billed to no-show, no-pay entries! $50 will be charged for all returned checks.
USEA CURRENT MEMBERSHIP: (Junior, Collegiate, Full, Life) and horse registration (Limited or Full) are required at all levels.
CHANGES: Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee. All CIC competitors must use the 2017 CIC/CCI Entry Form. All U.S. CIC2*/1* horses must have a National or FEI Passport; all foreign CIC horses & U.S. CIC3* horses must have a FEI passport. All CIC horses and riders must be registered with the FEI for 2017. Include printed, legible and current email address on entry. All correspondence from secretary will be via email. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry/Stabling No refund. Competition cancellation-No refund.
USEA Starter and D&M Fees Refund Policy: The USEA Starter and D&M fees ($21), are not subjected to office fees, and shall be returned within 30 days of the competition to any rider who does not start the dressage test or presented at the first horse inspection, if applicable.
Scratches/Changes must be in writing via mail, fax, email only. A fee will be charged for any changes made to entry: $30/ change fee, $50 changes after July 9th.
If space allows and post entries are accepted they will be charged an additional $75 late fee. ANY entry postmarked after Closing Date will be considered a late entry and the $75 Late fee applies. Additionally, any electronic or faxed entry made prior to Closing Date must be COMPLETE within 5 days after Closing or will be also considered a late entry and charged the $75 Late fee. Late fee policy will be strictly adhered to!
Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses.
Any entry which is incomplete as of 6:00 pm Sunday July 9th will be charged an additional $20 PER MISSING ITEM. This includes, signature pages, coggins, horse or rider numbers, etc. Any change to entry subject to $30 fee and must be in writing (fax, email or mail). Before C.D. - change of horse and/or rider and/or division allowed. After C.D. - change of horse or rider (not both) and/or division, space permitting. Absolutely no telephone withdrawals, changes or stabling requests will be accepted.

Special Prizes: 1) High Point Series Award, awarded for points accumulated by competitors entered in all 3 MDHT 2017 Recognized USEA Events. 2) The Jockey Club T.I.P. High Point Thoroughbred Awards. 54 permanent stalls on site with stall doors in addition there will be temporary stalls in the adjoining indoor enclosure, if warranted. $75.00 per night includes one bale of straw. STRAW BEDDING ONLY! Include SEPARATE $50 check muck deposit. Muck fee returned if stall is stripped and swept. If Stabling and Muck fees are combined into one check, the Muck fee will not be refunded. Competitors wishing to stay for the week, call 301-514-0111. CIC2-3400m @ 550 mpm. CIC1-3000 m @ 520 mpm. I-3400m @ 550 mpm. P-3000 m @ 520 mpm. T- 2500 m @ 450 mpm. N-2100 m 375 mpm. Courses are on well established, rolling pasture that will be aggravated. New areas of ground have been opened up to help add flow and length. I track over rolling terrain, with bold gallop fences, terrain and accuracy questions. P/T tracks different from Week 1. P has terrain and accuracy questions, bold gallop fences. T has terrain questions that focus on the development of better balance and accuracy. N Good educational and inviting tracks. Courses will have changes and be different between Week 1 and 2. This will not be a "move up" course.

DOGS: GR1301.6 will be STRICHTLY ENFORCED. There will be a $100 fine for any dog not on a leash at any time and the owner may be asked to leave the grounds. Dogs are not permitted to be loose on competition grounds and must be on a leash or otherwise contained. Individuals must not lead dogs on a leash while mounted. Dog owners are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from their dogs’ behaviors. Dog owners failing to comply with this rule may be subject to penalty under Chapters 6 and 7, as well as issuance of warning cards.
