An FEI Combined Test is beng offered, primarily for people riding in the Virginia CCI1*. Show Jumping under FEI One-star specifications.

Special prizes awarded to the lowest scoring TB at both the Novice Level and Training Level Classic 3-Day Events sponsored by The Jockey Club Thoroughbred Incentive Program.

From Baltimore/Frederick: I-70 to Rt. 97 South; Approx. 8 mi. to right onto Rt. 650/Damascus Rd., Horse trials entrance, 1 1/4 mi. on right.
From VA/Washington, DC Beltway (495): To I?270 N. Exit Shady Grove Rd. east. Continue east on Shady Grove to right on Rt. 124. At fourth light, turn right on Brink Rd. Go 4 mi. to left on Howard Chapel Rd. At stop sign, turn left on Damascus Rd. Entrance immediately on right. OR  Washington, DC Beltway (495) to I?270 N. Take ICC  Rt 200 East(toll road) to Georgia Ave/Route 97 north toward Olney; Continue approx 6 miles north of Olney to the traffic light at Route 650; turn left onto Route 650/Damascus Rd; continue 1.5 mile to entrance on right.
From PA/North:  I-70 west to Rt. 97 south, 8 miles to right onto Rt. 650 Damascus Rd., Farm 1.5 mile on right.

Cross-country course open-3 pm.
Sat: All N & BN: Dressage-8 am;  Cross-country-10:00 am. Show jumping-12:00 pm
Sun: (All T,& P) Dressage-8 am; Show jumping-9:30 am; Cross-country-11:30 am. CT: P after HT P has concluded. Depending on entry numbers, some T may be offered Saturday.

Tues/Wed: N and T3D check in; arrival. No arrivals before 2 PM Tuesday nor when dark.
Wed: 9:30 Welcome briefing; ALL riders to attend, First Horse Inspection.  
Thurs: Dressage
Fri: Cross-country.
Sat: Show Jumping; mounted awards ceremony.
Stephen Bradley/Lead Clinician; dinners, educational seminars and demonstrations will occur throughout the event.

          Before C.D.-Entry/Stabling less $25 non-refundable office fee. 

          After C.D.--No refunds entry or stabling. Competition cancellation- No refund.  BOUNCED CHECKS SURCHARGE           $50; CREDIT CARD ENTRIES ACCEPTED VIA EVENT ENTRIES AND X ENTRIES.  
Entries will be SCHEDULED when all the paperwork and fees are received.

Scratches/Changes...MUST be made in writing either email ( or faxed 301 570 0287.  Changes to entry between CD and Sunday before the event: $40. Changes between Monday before the competition and the event conclusion:  $50 per change.

IF ENTRIES ARE INCOMPLETE AT CLOSING DATE: Any paperwork received after the CLOSING DATE/postmarked or delivered will be charged the LATE FEE of $50 for the entry to be accepted and scheduled-this includes  signature pages, coggins, fees etc.  Any electronic or faxed entry made prior to CD must be complete within 5 days after CD or will be considered LATE with the $50 late fee applying. 

Post Entries: if space allows and post entries accepted, they will be charged an additional $50; all other refund/scratch/change fees still apply.  ANY entry postmarked after the CD will be considered LATE with the $50 late fee applying.  Check the website for entry status.

Arenas:  All weather permanent rings  

HT:  P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. T-2400 m @ 450 mpm. N-2000 m @ 375mpm. BN-1800 m @ 325mpm. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels.
CLASSIC NOVICE and TRAINING LEVEL 3-DAY: Participants should expect a championship level course to include water, banks, ditches and suitable combinations.  Specific details for A, B, C, and D on website.
Other Information:

Cross-country course closed Sept. 15.
Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
Food available on grounds. Dogs must be leashed.
NO motorbikes anywhere on the cross-country course.
Cross-country schooling day, Tuesday October 30 weather/footing permitting.
