From North: I-95 S. or NJ Turnpike S. over Delaware Memorial Bridge, take exit 109A (Rt. 279 Elkton) to Rt. 213, right on 213 N. to right on Rt. 273 E., 1 ½ mi. then right onto Gallaher Rd. 1/2 mi. to stabling and show grounds on Gallaher Rd.
From South: I-95 to Exit 100. Left off ramp on Rt. 272 N, 5 mi. to Rt. 273 E, 6 mi. pass Rt. 213 intersection. Same as above.

Tentative Schedule:
Horses may arrive Monday Noon to 5 pm and Tuesday 9 am to 5 pm. Earlier arrivals must be cleared through CCI sec'y. CCI Horses must be on grounds by 9 am Wed., Oct. 17. Please Note: CCI horses stabled in fenced enclosure with 24-hour security. All CCI horses must be examined BEFORE ENTERING CCI stables. (Examination upon arrival-FEI Rules). Arrivals after 5 pm on Monday or Tuesday, or before Noon on Monday or 9 am on Tuesday or any horses without proper papers will be held in holding stalls, provided by management until examined & approved. FEI rules allow only the following persons connected with horse access to CCI stables: Rider, a max. of 2 Owners at any one time, Trainer (as listed on entry), 1 Groom/horse, Vet. accompanying competitor. Only official Event Farrier allowed in CCI stables. Wristband and personalized credentials employed for ID access to CCI stables at all times.
Wed: Briefing, Speed/Endurance walk-10 am; First horse inspection-2 pm. Thurs & Fri: CCI Dressage-9 am., and YEH Tests.
Sat: Cross Country-8 am, 2* then 3*.
Sun: Third horse inspection-8:00 am; Show Jumping - 10 am for 2*, 12:30 pm 3*.

Camping: $45.00 per night with hook-up, $25 per night no hook-up.
Association fees: refer to the fee section of the entry form for payment amounts. Entry includes a $50 non-refundable administration fee. CCI Competitors must use the 2012 CCI entry form. $35 refundable fee for return of pinny (separate check included with entry). $35 stall deposit returned when stall is stripped (separate check included with entry). Refunds: Before C.D.- Less $50/Stabling-In full; After C.D.- Entry/stabling-No refund (will be considered a donation to the cross-country building fund). Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. (Copy must accompany entry & horse). CCI horses must be accompanied by a valid FEI Passport, and on grounds by 9 am, Oct. 17. All Entries are to be COMPLETE by October 2nd. ANY paperwork received after October 2nd will be charged an additional fee of $50.

Trophy & 10 ribbons per division. Prize money paid by check mailed to owner of horse listed on entry, so be sure the info on your entry is CORRECT! Trophies: CCI3*: The "Fair Hill Bronze"-CCI3* winner; The "Gladstone Trophy"- presented by the USET to the highest placed US Rider; The "Guy V. Henry Memorial Trophy" - the USEF National 3* Championship-highest placed US Rider; The "Linda Moore Trophy"- highest placed Foreign Rider; The "Edward Johnson Memorial Trophy"-highest placed Adult Amateur Rider. The "Amanda Warrington Trophy"-highest placed entry in 1st CCI3*. The "Beale Morris Memorial Trophy" - highest placed Lady Rider. The "Welcome Here Farm Trophy"-highest placed American Thoroughbred Mare. The "Markham Trophy"-highrst placed US YR. The National Under 25 Championships, The National Owner/Rider Championship, The National Three Star Championship.
CCI2*: The "Heartwood Farm Trophy" -CCI2* winner; The "Seahorse Farm Trophy"-owner of the winning horse; The "Palmaccio Trophy" -Leading Foreign Rider; The Combined Training Trophy-highest place US Rider; The National 22-24 year old Championship; The "Jonathan R. Burton Trophy"-US YH Championship; The "Keith Taylor & Sheila Hundt Memorial Award"- highest placed current USPC member; The "Mid-Atlantic Horse Rescue Trophy"-highest placed American Thoroughbred.
Both CCI3* & CCI2*: Best Presentation Award; Fitness Award; Sportsmanship Award. Completion ribbons to all who finish the competition.
$225.00 from Monday to Monday. Trailer parking is remote. Only competitors paying $25 per night for primitive camping will be allowed to park trailers in Stabling Area. The DNR Management encourages use of straw bedding. Temp. stalls on grounds. Stall doors provided. Bring stall guards. Indicate on stabling form whether bedding on straw or shavings. Feed/Hay/Bedding available for purchase IF PRE-ORDERED, further info from stable office. Veterinarian: official FEI Vet. # posted at stabling office/sec'y office. Sampling Procedure for Prohibited Substances (Vet Regs, Ch. V&VI and Annex IV) Regular sampling is carried out in CCI 4/3*, CCIOs, World Cup Qualifiers and Finals, Championships and Games, whereas at other CCIs sampling is recommended. When testing takes place, the number of horses tested is at the discretion of the Testing Veterinarian/Veterinary Delegate; however, a minimum of three is recommended (Vet Regs Art. 1016).

NOTE: this is Homecoming weekend for Univ of Del, in Newark, so Northeast, MD accomodations may be preferable. Camping: $45/night. 5 sites with hook-up 2 miles from stables; limited sites w/out hook-up adjacent to stables. Advance reservations & payment required. Specify preference. Only competitors paying $25/ night for primitive camping will be allowed to park trailers in Stabling Area. 


Test & arena size: CCI3*- 2009 FEI Three-Star Test B-Std. CCI2*- 2009 FEI Two- Star Test B-Std.  Arena: All-weather.


CCI3* - 5700 m @ 570 mpm. CCI2* - 4950 m @ 550 mpm.

Cross-country NEVER open.
Riders may be permitted to enter 4 horses if time schedule permits.
Food on grounds.
Dogs must be leashed. Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources requires proof of rabies vaccination. Owners WILL BE FINED  $50/dog per incident by MD DNR for unleashed dogs anywhere on grounds INCLUDING STABLE AREA.
