Address: Rosaryville State Park, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772. Park entrance is on Marlton Road West off Rt. 301 South. It is not on Rosaryville Road!
From South: I-95 to MD, Rt. 4 east to US Rt. 301 south 4 miles to Rosaryville State Park. Entrance is on the right just after Rt 301 crosses Osborne Road (Exxon station and 7-11 store on the right at Osborne and Rt 301).
From North: I-97 to MD Rt 3 south becomes MD Rt 301 south. Same as above.
Once you enter the park via W. Marlton Road (from Route 301 North), drive back a short distance, turn right at the fork and continue back to event parking (on your right and left as you enter the large clearing). There will be directional signs on the day of an event and there is also a small island with state park signs at the forked turn. If you miss the turn and go straight, do not panic. This exit will put you back on Route 301 North. It will then be necessary to do a U-Turn and come back to the first entrance. Please note the entrance and exit are One-Way only for your safety. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. INTRO Test - will be run the same as a USEA/USEF horse trial and will follow USEF Rules for Eventing. Maximum height in SJ and XC will be 2'3" - most obstacles will NOT be at max height. Membership in USEA/USEF not required for horse or rider. USEA Starter/Drug Fees do not apply or USEA non-member fees required. When filling out the form please omit these fees from your payment. ALL ENTRIES MUST INCLUDE PRINTED AND VALID EMAIL ADDRESS; ALL COMMUNICATION WILL BE VIA EMAIL UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED ON ENTRY. We will use the plastic pinny number holders this year. Bring your own or purchase from our Secretary for $15.00. Grounds Fee: $10.00 added to all entries. $30 fee for returned checks. Entries are considered accepted when all Paperwork/Signatures/ Coggins and fees are received. Refunds: Before C.D.-Entry/Stabling-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-No refunds. $35 fee for any change of entry after CD. Scratch/withdrawals accepted via email or fax only with acknowledgment from secretary – No phone messages will be accepted. Competition cancellation: refunds or in lieu of offers at organizer's discretion. Post entries accepted after Closing Date at Organizer’s discretion and will include $40 late fee. Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all horses. Enter the Friendly Team Challenge! Young/Jr Riders and Area II Adult Riders may form teams of 4 (Young/Jr riders and Adult riders may NOT be on the same team). Separate prizes offered. Five Spring Farm (formerly Hidden Springs Stables), 6005 McKendree Rd., Lothian, MD 20711, (410) 867-3933, approx. 8 miles from event (off of Route 4). $40/stall/night. Permanent 12X12 stalls with doors. Provide own bedding. Full service barn (Indoor arena) only provided. Veterinarian: Wolf Creek Equine on-site and phone number will be posted at sec'ys office. Test & arena sizes: P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. PT-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. T-2010 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2010 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm Intro- 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-sm. Arenas and warm-up: Grass.
P-2700 m @ 520 mpm, confidence building course for horses prepared for the level. Terrain questions test balance. PT/T-2400 m @ 450 mpm, solid course for level; forward galloping track with use of terrain to balance and educate. N-2100 m @ 400 mpm; inviting track for horses with some experience at the level. BN- 1900 m @ 350 mpm; inviting track for horses with some experience at the level.
Intro- 1500 m @275 mpm; fun and easy introduction to eventing. All courses: Varied terrain with woods and open fields; gently rolling hills with excellent galloping tracks. Expect water, banks and ditches at all levels, except Intro. Intro- water, bank and ditch optional. Inviting spectator venue. Easy access for spectators to dressage and show jumping areas. Established turf for galloping tracks and warm up areas, will be aggravated prior to competition if necessary. Cross-Country course always closed except for schooling dates on Wednesday September 26 and Saturday September 29 2012.

Join us and the friendliest staff and volunteers you'll find on the East coast. Maryland Tack on the grounds for all your riding needs. Dogs must be leashed with person attached! A $25 fine will be collected and donated to the MHT Course Bldg. Fund for all loose dogs. No water on grounds - Please bring own water!
$30 fee for non-competing horses on the grounds. Non competing horses will not be allowed in warm up areas.

Cross-country course closed except for schooling days on Wednesday. Sept 26, 11 AM -6 PM and Saturday, Sep 29th, 10AM – 5PM. Safety vest, proper footwear and helmet must be worn. No vest, no helmet-no school. All riders must be accompanied by either a ground person on foot or by at least one other rider – no single riders schooling.
