Riders please Note:  ANY entry received and not COMPLETE incl all fees due at Close will be removed from the Entry List and Late Charges of $50 will apply to this entry in order to start the event.   Payment via money order, cashiers check or cash only.

Entries:

Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee.  USEA Rider Membership required for BN or pay non-member fee of $25; USEA Rider Membership & Horse registration required for Novice, Training & Preliminary. USEF Rider membership required for Prelimnary or pay non-member fee of $30.  AMl funds deposited upon receipt.
Refunds: Before C.D.- Entry less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-Entry less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from waiting list; stabling refunded in full ONLY if place can be filled from wait list.
$35 fee for each Change, including stabling changes, after Close, only if eligible and schedule permits. All withdrawals must be in writing by mail or email to secy by 9 PM of Close Date. No phone messages accepted. Competition cancellation-Refund after expenses. Neg. Coggins required for all horses within 12 months must accompany entry.

Trophy & 10 ribbons per division.

Stabling/Veterinarian:

Off grounds: $40/night. 30 perm/temporary 10'x10' stalls 2-10 mi. from event. On grounds: $175 Th-Su nights. Tent & 10' x 10' temp stalls, some permanent on grounds. Stall doors only provided. MUST specify with entry whether stabling on or off grounds.  First come, First serve for ON grounds availability.  Feed/ bedding/hay available for purchase, Skylight Supply (502) 228-0070. Dressage:

Test & arena sizes:  All P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm.   All  T-2010 USEF Training Test B-Sm. All N-2010 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. All BN-2010 BN Test B-Sm. Arenas: 2 sand.

Cross-Country:

All P-3000 m @ 520 mpm. All T-2600 m @ 420 mpm. All N-2000 m @ 350 mpm. All BN-2000 m @ 325 mpm.  Set on a horse farm so galloping through several paddock openings.  Educational for all levels,  great variety of questions with optimal galloping at the Trng & Prelim levels. Water, ditches and banks at all levels.  Most galloping fences max for the level but the combinations are not.  Prelim has bounce bank, bounce, mound question, as well as narrow faces and corners.   Training includes coffin exercise, one stride, bank in to and out of water, and trakehner.   Novice and beginner novice includes a ditch, terrain questions, and is a super education for your horse.

Jumping Derby on Friday back by popular demand!  Stadium courses will be different for the Horse Trials.  Beginning 8A , runs lower levels to upper levels, so you can ride multiple levels.  BN/N/T/P Derby fee $35/ride.  Open to riders and horses not in the competition as well. We will post the schedule for each level on the website ahead of time.  Coggins and farm release required for participation.
Cross-country course closed Aug 28. Entry limit approx. 190. Riders limited 3 horses/level. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state eligible preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. See www.kyevents.net for divisions offered. Food available on grounds. Dogs must be leashed.  Free T-shirts, door prizes and other great gifts to each competitor upon arrival! Complimentary party Sat. night featuring The Vinyl Kings. New Indoor Arena under construction!
