Directions:

Address: 1371 Mica Mountain Rd., Deary, ID  83823 To avoid driving miles on dirt road do not use Map Quest or Google Maps. 
From the WEST : Moscow, Idaho and Pullman, WA: Hwy 8 East to Deary (27 miles). Half-mile before Deary turn left (north) onto Hwy 9 for 2 miles. Quarter mile past Mile-Marker-2 turn Right onto Mica Mtn. Rd. (arched bridge heading North). Follow Mica Mtn. Rd for 2 miles, follow the main road to the left becoming Old Avon Road for Quarter mile. Turn into Field on left.
From the SOUTH (Lewiston, Idaho): Hwy 95 South to Hwy 12. Exit onto Hwy 12 stay on Hwy 12 then exit onto Hwy 3 going towards Kendrick, Idaho. Follow Hwy 3 North to Deary. At Deary turn Left at the Exxon station. Drive through Deary turn onto Hwy 9 half-mile West of Deary, and follow directions as above.
From the NORTH (Couer d 'Alene -- this is the recommended route from Montana): Hwy 95 South to Potlatch. Turn left onto Hwy 6 and go through Potlatch and Princeton. Just before Harvard turn right onto Hwy 9. Go 12 miles and turn left onto Mica Mtn. Rd. Follow directions above.

Fri: Opening Ceremony and Dressage (al divisions) 8:00am
Sat: Cross-country-9:00 am. Event Party 6:00pm
Sun: Show Jumping - 9:00 am all divisions starting with Prelim. Competitors will ride in reverse order of placing.

Entry: HT (BN-P) $160.00; Tests (Starter, Intro) $100.00, (YEH) $80.
Post Entry: Entries made after the closing date additional $50 to Entry fee.
Stabling: $95.00
Non-Stabling Haul-in fee:$50.00/weekend
Pinny Deposit: $25.00 (separate check) will be returned upon return of pinny
Cowboy Dinner: $15.00,1 ticket included with entry fee. All additional tickets must be purchased in advance.
Dog Fee: $25.00 all dogs must be leashed. 

Entries:

All entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee.  Double Entries: not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must include $25 non-member fee with entry. Starter and Intro divisions may be combined if entries warrant. Starter/Intro: starter fees do not apply and USEA membership/non-membership fees are waived.  Refunds: Before C.D. - less $25 non-refundable office fee; Withdrawals will not be honored without written intent received via USPS, or e-mail on or before C.D. NO PHONE WITHDRAWALS WILL BE ACCEPTED. After C.D. - No refunds unless spot can be filled from wait list less $25 non-refundable office fee. Competition cancellation, no refund. Pinny fee $25 (separate check). Presentation of a current Coggins test and State Brand Inspection for each horse are highly encouraged upon arrival.

Stabling/Veterinarian:

$95/stall from Friday to Sunday. 100 temp stalls offered, Stalls assigned by order of receipt of entry. Tack stalls allowed if space available same fee applies ($95). Stall doors/initial bedding only provided. Additional bedding may be purchased, price TBD. $50 haul-in fee for non-stabled competing and non-competing horses. Non-competing horse must have written permission from organizer before arriving on property. Farrier and Veterinarian will be on site during riding portion of event. Farrier; Paul Magan (AFA Cert. Dressage:

All tests in outdoor sand arenas. Standard Arena 20mx60m, small arena 20mx40m. All warm-up on 12 acre grass field.  P --2010 USEF Preliminary Test B, Standard Arena. T -- 2010 USEF Training Test B, small arena. N -- 2010 USEF Novice Test B, small arena. BN -- 2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B, small arena. Starter and Intro -- 2011 USDF Intro Test C, small arena. YEH 5 -- USEA YEH 5 Test, small arena. YEH 4 -- USEA YEH 4 Test small arena

Cross-Country:

YEH 4 & 5 750m max 2'11"/3'3"  STARTER 1000 m @300mpm (if entries are low <5, this division will be combined with Intro), max 2'. INTRO 1800 m @325 mpm, max 2'. BN 1800 m @ 350 mpm, max 2'7". N 1800 m @ 350 mpm, max 2'11". T 2000 m @ 420 mpm max 3'3". P 2000m @ 520 mpm, max 3'7". Tracks at all levels utilize open rolling terrain in hay fields, timber and woodland. Courses invite good galloping opportunities, but recommend that horses are fit due to the rolling nature of the Palouse and the possible heat of August. Prelim course includes banks into and out of the water. There is also a corner jump with an option. Training includes a trakehner jump and banks into and out of the water. Novice, Beginning Novice, Starter, and Intro division courses are inviting straight and foward and will build confidence of horses and riders.  Many jumps visible to spectators. Water (with options at lower levels), bank, ditches included at all levels.

Other Information:

•Food will again be provided by Christie's Cafe, and will be available on grounds beginning Thursday afternoon. Christie and Tom specialize in dutch oven cooking, and healthy delicious foods. The menu may be viewed and meal packages will be available for purchase at the Stanton Farm web site, www.stantonfarm.com.
•All dogs must be on leash and pay $25 fee in advance of the event. You may include the fee with your entry forms and fees. Please pick up after your dog, and plan accordingly.
•Cowboy Dinner and Dance Saturday Night for all competitors and friends. One ticket is included with competitor's entry, all other tickets must be purchased in advance, or at the door. This is a BBQ Pig Pickin' hosted by the Zion Lutheran Church of Deary. Pig is donated by Stanton Farm. Music provided by Rand Walker and Jon Anderson. Bring your dancing shoes!!
•Other activities available during the event will be ping pong, Geo-caching hunt, volleyball, and horse shoes.  Bring your musical talents to share around the new food court and campfire after eating one of Christie and Tom's dinners!
