From East or West: I-90 to Exit 16, Fairview ( south/left) on SR 98 for 5 miles to blinking light. Left (east) on Old State Road for 1.2 miles to the corner of Old State & Eureka Road. Left on Eureka to Stabling.
From South: I-79 Exit 166 Edinboro, (west/left) on SR 6N to traffic light. Right (north) on SR 98 to blinking light. Right (east) on to Old State Rd. etc. (see above).

Sun: Cross-country (P/T)-approx. 8:30 am, followed by Show Jumping (P/T). Starter Test (all on Sunday)Beginning approx. 8:00 am with Dressage followed by Show Jumping and then Cross-country.

Entry fees: Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. Starter Test entrants are exempt from starter/d&m fees and USEA membership/non-membership requirements. If oversubscribed, priority to USEA members. $20=Lost pinny(do not send check). Online entries through Xentry now accepted. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-No refund unless place filled from wait list then entry-Less $25 returned. $25 fee for each change after closing date. Post Entries accepted after closing date with $25 fee . Withdrawals by email only, to sec´y by 9 pm on C.D. for refund less office fee. Competition cancellation=50% entry and 50% stabling returned. Neg.Coggins required within 12 months/out-of-state. Not required for horses in PA. Any new entries mailed after C.D. must by accompanied by cashier's check or money order. Starter Test Div. to be run totally on Sun.
8 ribbons per division. Trophy for 1st place & Prize money for 1st, 2nd, 3rd( P/T/N/BN)awarded with ribbons. The Jack Ray, Sr. Award for Prelim. Young Rider. Separate dressage ribbons - 8 per division. BN/N awards following 30 min. inquiry period for each division after XC. Lake Erie Classic (Ribbons and prize money 1st-3rd) for best overall scores in both the Lost Hounds HT and the Erie Hunt & Saddle Club HT. (P/T/N/BN) awarded. Starter Test awards following 30 min. inquiry period after XC.
Limited on grounds stabling. $45/stall/night. 110 permanent stalls with doors, 12 temp. stalls at Ferghana (across street from EHSC - site of XC). Additional off grounds stabling available 7 miles away. Stabling assigned in order as entries are received. No initial bedding provided. Extended stabling before and after HT available at no charge. Feed/hay/bedding (shavings) available for purchase. Further info. from Organizers. Veterinarian & Farrier: #´s will be posted at Secretary's office.

P.-approx. 2900 m @ 520 mpm. T.-approx. 2200 m @ 450 mpm. N.-approx. 1950 m @ 350 mpm. BN-approx. 1900 m @ 325 mpm/ max. height 2'6". Approx. jumping efforts: BN=14, N=16, T=20, P=26, . N/BN: Easy, good for first time at this level. T/P: Average, for horses with some experience at this level. Water jumps flagged and numbered for P/T/N; may be optional for BN. Starter Test - approx 1000 m @ 300 mpm (time only used to break ties)/ max height 2'. Approx. jumping efforts= 8. All courses will be "agrivated" as needed to improve footing.
Cross-country course closed July 9th. Entry limit 170. Riders limit 2 horses/level, or 3 horses/entire event. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences (1st,2nd,3rd) under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Starter Test riders may not have competed above BN. The same horse may be ridden twice by different riders in the Starter Test. All riders please fill in experience section of entry form in order to place you in the appropriate Division. All entrants (except BN and Starter Test) must provide own pinny. Avaiable for purchase at Horse Trial.
