From Beltway 495: Take River Rd exit #39, toward Potomac. Go 11.3 mi to stop sign. Turn left at stop sign (still River Rd) & continue 1.4 mi. Turn right onto Partnership Rd (SVPC H.T. sign on corner). Go 0.7 mi. to Bittersweet Field on right.
Alternate VA Route: From US Rt. 15 outside Leesburg, VA, take White´s Ferry to MD side. Go through Poolesville. Take right fork outside Poolesville onto Partnership Rd. Bittersweet Field on left. No large rigs allowed on Ferry.

Starter competitors: Membership in USEA or USEF not required for horse or rider. No USEA or USEF drug or starter fees required.
Changes: Any changes after closing date -$25 charge per change. After June 13, 2012, any changes - $50.
Refunds: Before C.D.-Full refund minus $25 office fee; After C.D.-Less $25 ONLY if place can be filled from wait list. Wait list expires 6/14/2012 at 9 p.m. Stabling-Full refund if sec´y notified by June 11. No refund after that date. Competition cancellation-refunds/rebates will be provided - amount will be determined after payment of expenses. All I-3200 m @ 550mpm. P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. T-2400 m @ 470 mpm. N-2000 m @ 400 mpm. BN-2000 @ 350 mpm. Starter Test: 1200 m @ 275 mpm. Note: All distances and speeds are approximate. Water at all levels, except Starter. All courses: I-moderately difficult for horses with some experience at this level. P/T-Moderately difficult with options at many fences. N/BN-Average, for horses with some experience at these levels. Starter Test - Easy to average, fun starter test. Established rolling turf and woodland. See website for photos of recent courses.
Starter Test - will be run the same as a USEA/USEF horse trial and, unless otherwise stated, will follow USEF rules. Maximum height in SJ and XC will be 2'3" -- most obstacles will NOT be at max height. Membership in USEA or USEF not required for horse or rider. No USEA or USEF drug or starter fees required.
Capital Region Pony Clubs Eventing Rally is run in conjunction with the Horse Trials and participants will have a dedicated parking area and HM area. U.S. Pony Club members are exempt from the USEA Membership requirement at the Novice level and from paying the Beginner Novice non-member fee when competing in team competitions or Pony Club rallies held in conjunction with USEA recognized horse trials. Horse registration is also exempt at the Novice level.
Cross-country competition course closed after June 2, 2012.
Competition course open for public schooling only on scheduled schooling days.
Riders may be limited on number of horses for entire event.
Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
Food on grounds.
Dogs must be leashed.
No non-competing horses on grounds; no hacking out on grounds prior to competition date. Practice/hacking space available at stabling.
No motorbikes on x-c while horses are on course.

Official schooling days June 20 and 23, from 10 am to 5 pm =$50. No advance registration necessary. Ground person and copy of current Negative Coggins required.
