Left on Eureka to Stabling. From South: I-79 Exit 166 Edinboro, (west/left) on SR 6N to traffic light. Right (north) on SR 98 to blinking light. Right (east) on Old State Rd. etc. (see above).

Sun: Show Jumping (I/P/T),-approx. 8:00 am, followed by Cross Country 30 minutes later in same order.

Entry fees: Online entries with Xentry now accepted. Double entries: Not accepted. I and P entries must include copy of their USEF membership card. OBN competitors who are not USEA members must pay additional $25 with entry. If oversubscribed, priority given to USEA members. Stall cleaning deposit $20: include separate check with entry; Returned for cleaned (not stripped) stall. $20=Lost pinny (do not send check). Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.-No refund unless place filled from waiting list, then entry less $25. Competition cancellation=50% entry & 50% stabling returned. $25 fee for each change after closing date. Post Entries accepted with additional $25 fee. Withdrawals by email only, to Secretary by 9 pm on C.D. for refund less office fee. Neg. Coggins within 12 months required for all out of state horses. Not required for horses in PA. ENTRIES AFTER CD MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A CASHIER'S CHECK OR MONEY ORDER.
Prize Money 1st thru 3rd place T/N/BN. $2,000 in prize money for I & P (I=$700, $300, $200) (P=$500, $200, $100). Trophy & 8 ribbons per division. Thomas W. Parker Young Rider Award at Prelim. Separate dressage ribbons - 8 per division. N/BN awards given following 30 min. inquiry period after XC for each division. I/P/T unmounted Formal Awards Ceremony following 30 min. inquiry period after last XC Division. Lake Erie Classic - Awards and prize money for P/T/N/BN to 3rd place for best overall placing in both horse trials. To be awarded at the Erie Hunt & Saddle Club Horse Trials in Aug.
Limited on ground stabling: $45/stall/night.10x10 110 perm. stalls with stall doors and 12 temp. 10x12 stalls at Ferghana (Across street from EHSC - site of one Dressage ring and XC). Additional off grounds stabling available 7 miles away. Stabling assigned in order as entries received. No initial bedding provided. Extended stabling at no cost available. Feed/hay/bedding (shavings) available for purchase. Further info. from Organizer/ secretary. Veterinarian & Farrier: #´s will be posted at Secretary's office.

I-approx. 3200 @550 mpm. P-approx. 2900 m @ 520 mpm. T-approx. 2200 m @ 450 mpm. N-approx. 1950 m @ 350 mpm. BN-approx. 1900 m @ 325 mpm/ max. height 2'6". Approx. jumping efforts: BN=14, N=16, T=20, P=26, I=30. N/BN: Easy, good for first time at this level. T/P: Average, for horses with some experience at this level. I: Good intro. at this level. Water jumps flagged and numbered for I/P/T/N; may be optional for BN. All courses will be "agrivated" as needed to improve footing.
Cross.-country course closed 8 months prior to Horse Trials. Entry limit 170. Rider limit 2 horses/level; 3 horses/entire event. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences (1st, 2nd, 3rd) under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. All riders please fill in the experience section of the entry form to better place you in appropriate Division. All riders (except BN) must have own Pinnies. Available for purchase at Horse Trials. Food on grounds beginning Saturday, including full breakfast at 6:30 am Sat/Sun. Dogs must be leashed. No grounds, camping or pinny fees.
