USEA Omnibus: Golden Spike H.T. (Jun 2012)

Address: 1000 N 1200 W, Ogden, UT 84404. From I-15: Exit 346, turn east Pioneer Rd, go 0.8 mi., turn N on 1200 W. Go 0.5 mi., turn east (Bill Bailey Blvd) into Golden Spike Event Center. Stabling is SE of Coliseum (follow signs).

Fri:  Show jumping schooling time TBA. Cross-country course open-3 pm.  Sat: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping-1 pm.
Sun: Cross-country-9 am.

Entry fees include a $25 non-refundable office fee.  If undersubscribed, post entries may be accepted after the C.D., and such entries must include a non-refundable $25 post entry fee in addition to the $25 non-refundable office fee. Preliminary competitors who are USEF members, must send copy of USEF card for rider and owner; USEF non-members must pay the $30 USEF non-member fee with entry. Closing Date is a received by, not a postmarked by, date. Intro entrants are exempt from USEA Starter/D&M Fees and the USEA Membership/nonmembership fees are waived. BN HT competitors must be a USEA member or pay a $25 USEA non-member fee with entry. Refunds: Before C.D: Entry-Less $25 non-refundable office fee/Stabling-In full; After C.D.: Entry-No refund/Stabling-In full. Competition cancellation - Refund after expenses. Any changes made to entry after C.D. will be charged a $25 change fee. Scratches/changes accepted via email, phone, and mail - not by answering machine. Negative Coggins within 12 months required for out-of-state horses; copy must accompany entry. 

Prize & 8 ribbons per division.

$35/one night; $70 for two nights; or $80 Thursday pm through Sunday at close of event. 200 perm stalls on grounds. Stall doors and initial bedding provided. Veterinarian: # posted at the show office.

Test & arena sizes: P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2010 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2010 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN/Elementary (Intro)-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm.  Arenas and warm up on sand

P-2800 m @ 520 mpm. T-2400 m @ 450 mpm. N-2000 m @ 400 mpm. BN-2000 m @ 350 mpm, max ht: 2´ 7’. Terrain: Flat, open, non-irrigated, dragged, and aerated turf. Some irrigated turf for P/T. All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at these levels.

Cross-country course closed June 14th.
Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry, if no birth date listed, senior assumed.
Limited food available at the Golden Spike Event Center. Volunteers welcome! Please call secretary. Dogs must be leashed. Cross-country schooling available after show for $25.00 per horse.
