From the North: Take Mass Route 3 south to exit 3. Turn left off the exit. Take second right onto Old Sandwich Rd. Farm is 2 miles down on the right.
From the South:
Take Mass Route 3 north to exit 2. At end of ramp turn left. Then turn left onto route 3A north. Follow Route 3A north for approx. 2 miles. Turn left onto Old Sandwich Rd. Farm is approx 2 miles down on your left.

Event Fees Directory: Draw checks to Valinor Farm.
Entry: All Levels: $175.00 if postmarked on opening date or $185 if postmarked AFTER opening date. USEA/USEF fees are not included as part of the entry fee.
Stabling: $90.00 per night on grounds.
Beginner Novice divisions offered on Saturday and Sunday. Riders PLEASE state day of choice on entry.


Entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. $25 charge for lost pinny, no deposit required. Negative Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. $25 fee for all changes after closing date (including late entries) or non-negotiable check.  Refunds: Before C.D -Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.Entry-Less $25 office fee ONLY if place can be filled from a wait list.  Withdrawls and changes must be in writing, fax or email. No refunds on stabling after closing date. Competition cancellation-No refund.

Prizes & 8 ribbons per division.
The T.I.P (Throughbred Incentive Program) is sponsoring awards for the highest placing throughbred in each division. If you are competing a throughbred, be sure to register with the T.I.P.  See this website for application and more information.


Limited. $90/stall/night on grounds. Possibly more available off-grounds. Stabling form must accompany entry, please specify Friday or Saturday night. Competitors stabling Friday night please arrive between 3 and 9pm on Friday; stalls must be cleaned and vacated by 5pm Saturday. Sunday competitors with stabling please arrive between 5 and 9pm on Saturday. Stalls will not be available before 5pm on Saturday. Stall doors provided, bedding available for purchase, please order with entry. Veterinarian: Halifax Veterinary Services, (781) 294-8155. # will be posted on board inside barn.

Test & arena sizes: PT-2010 USEF Preliminary Test A-Sm. T-2010 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2010 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Arenas: grass or sand.


T- 2200 m @ 420 mpm. N- 2000 m @ 350 mpm. BN- 1500 m @ 300 mpm/max fence height 2' 7". All courses: Hilly, moderate for horses with some experience at these levels. Open fields and some wooded trails.  Footing generally very good. Courses include banks, water, ditches appropriate for level.  BN water is flagged as a mandatory crossing.

Other Information:

Cross-country course closed by mid May.
Entry limit 100 per day.
Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry.
Dogs must be leashed.
No motorized vehicles allowed on X-Cty.
No non-competing horses on grounds.
Please contact organizer if you need to arrive for stabling after 9pm. Parking is limited, please write the size of your trailer on your entry form.
Water and food available on grounds.
