Entry: P/T: $150.00; N/BN: $125.00; Intro: $100.00.
Stabling: $100.00 (section 5) Clean Stall Deposit: $40.00 (separate check)

1. Entries:

*All complete entries postmarked on Opening Date will receive $10 refund attached to competition packet and will not pay office fee for changes or scratches. All entries postmarked after Opening Date include a $25 non-refundable office fee. If event is undersubscribed by CD, the CD will be extended. Entry fees after the published close date are P/T=$170, N/BN=$145/division. Incomplete entries: $10 fee. Entry confirmation will be posted on www.gvrdc.org. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. Intro competitors are exempt from USEA starter and D&M fees. Refunds: Before C.D..-Less $25 non-refundable office fee*; After C.D. only if entry can be filled from wait list; Stabling only if stall can be filled from wait list. Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. Coggins (within 12 months) required for all horses must accompany entry.

2. Tentative Schedule:

Fri: Stabling opens at Noon; Cross-country course opens at 3 pm.
Sat: Dressage begins 8 am.
Sun: Show Jumping begins at 8:00 am; Cross-country begins at 8:30 am. Beginner Novice and Novice will complete Show Jumping 15 minutes prior to cross-country so riders should show jump in x-c gear. 

3. Awards:

Prizes & 8 ribbons per division.

4. Starting Times:

Available August 26 on www.gvrdc.org or www.AreaIUSEA.org.

5. Stabling/Veterinarian:

Limited. $100/stall from Friday Noon to Noon Monday. Enclose separate $40 refundable check payable to GVRDC clean stall deposit (check will be destroyed when stall is stripped). 48 permanent stalls on grounds. Shavings only. Bedding available for purchase. Further info from secretary. Veterinarian: Genesee Valley Equine Clinic (585-889-1170). # posted at event scoreboard & stabling.

6. Accommodations:

Quality Inn-5 mi., (585-243-0500); Oak Valley Inn-5 mi., (585-243-5570). Camping: Parking for RVs, but no hook-ups

7. Directions:

Address: Roots Tavern Road, Geneseo, NY 14454. From East & West: Thruway Exit 46 to 390 South to Exit 9.-Lakeville. Left off exit (Rt.15 S) for 9/10 mi. to first right on Triphammer Rd. to end. Left on Rt. 39 to second right on Roots Tavern Rd. Grounds 1/2 mile on left. From South: Rt. 390 to Exit 7.-Geneseo. Right off Exit. Follow signs to Geneseo. Left on Main St. (Rt. 39). Second left after High School to Roots Tavern Rd. Grounds 1/2 mile on left. Roots Tavern Rd. is approx. 4 miles from Geneseo.

8. Dressage:

Test & arena sizes: P-2010 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. T-2010 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2010 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2010 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Intro-2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm (test available at gvrdc.org). Arenas: Sand & grass. Warm.-up: Grass.

9. Cross-Country:

P.-3000m @ 520 mpm. T -2400m @ 450 mpm,. All N.-2000m @ 350 mpm. BN .-1800 m @ 350 mpm. Intro: Will include logs and miniature versions of traditional cross-country fences not to exceed 2'2", with no water or ditches. Intro divison will not be timed. Terrain: Water, ditches & banks. All courses: Inviting but challenging. 

10. Other Information:

Cross-country course closed until after event. Show jumping course for Preliminary includes a natural Liverpool. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. BNH-Horse may not have competed at the novice level or above. Food on grounds. Dogs leashed. Owners of loose dogs will be fined $25. Party: Saturday - competitors free, others $15.
