Event Fees Directory – see individual section for details. Draw checks to Valinor Farm. Entry: Per division: $ 160.00 (section 1) Stabling: $ 75.00 (section 5)  Beginner Novice riders MUST state day of choice on their entry.

1. Entries:

Entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry. $25 charge for lost pinny, no deposit required. Negative Coggins required within 12 months for all horses. Refunds: Before C.D..-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D.Entry-Less $25 office fee ONLY if place can be filled from a wait list. Withdrawals must be in writing or email secretary. $ 25 fee for all changes after closing date or non-negotiable check: Changes must be in writing or email. No refunds on stabling after closing date. Competition cancellation-No refund.

2. Tentative Schedule:

Fri: Cross.-country course open.-3 pm. Sat: (T and BN) Dressage.-7:30 am; Cross-country-10:30 am; Show Jumping.-1 pm. Sun: (N and BN) Dressage.- 7:30 am; Cross-country-10:30 am; Show Jumping.-1 pm. 

3. Awards:

Prizes & 8 ribbons per division.

4. Starting Times:

Available at www.area1usea.org and www.valinorfarm.com

5. Stabling/Veterinarian:

Very Limited. $75/stall/night on grounds. Possibly more available off-grounds. Competitors stabling Friday night may arrive between 3 and 9pm on Friday; stalls must be cleaned and vacated by 5pm Saturday. Sunday competitors with stabling may arrive between 5 and 9pm on Saturday, stalls will not be available before 5pm on Sunday. Stall doors provided, bedding available for purchase. Veterinarian: Halifax Veterinary Services, (781) 294.-8155. # will be posted on board inside barn.

6. Accommodations:

Hilton Garden Inn-8 mi., (508) 830-0200 The Blue Spruce 5 miles (508) 224-3990 Comfort Inn-10 mi., (508) 746-2800. John Carver Inn-10 mi., (508) 746-7100. Many others. Camping: Not available.

7. Directions:

Address: 1067 Old Sandwich Rd., Plymouth, MA 02360 From the North: Take Mass Route 3 south to exit 3. Turn left off the exit. Take second right onto Old Sandwich Rd. Farm is 2 miles on right. From the South: Take Mass Route 3 north to exit 2. At end of ramp turn left. Then turn left onto route 3A north. Follow Route 3A north for approx. 5 miles. Turn left onto Ship Pond Rd. Follow to end, at end turn right onto Old Sandwich Rd. Farm is next left.

8. Dressage:

Test & arena sizes: T-2006 USEF Training Test A-Sm. N-2006 USEF Novice Test A-Sm. BN-2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test A-Sm. Arenas: grass or sand, some competitors may ride dressage in the indooor. 

9. Cross-Country:

T- 2200 m @ 420 mpm. N.-2000 m @ 350 mpm. BN.-1500 m @ 300 mpm/max fence height 2' 7". All courses: Hilly, moderate for horses with some experience at these levels.

10. Other Information:

Cross.-country course closed by August 15. Water and food available on grounds. Entry limit=100 per day Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Dogs must be leashed. No motorized vehicles allowed on X-Cty. No non-competing horses on grounds. Please contact organizer if you need to arrive for stabling after 9pm.  Parking is limited, please write the size of your trailer on your entry form. Volunteers needed!

Champagne Run at the Park Horse Trials Cancelled
Due to scheduling conflicts, the Champagne Run at the Park Horse Trials set to take place on July 10-11 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky has been cancelled. (May 17, 2010)
