Fees:

Event Fees Directory - see individual section for details. Draw checks to Northwest Equestrian Center (NWEC). Entry: I/P: $175.00; T/N/BN: $150.00 (section 1) Stabling: $100.00 (section 5);  Haul-In Fee: $30.00 per horse(non-stabled horses, section 5)

1. Entries:

All entry fees include $25 non-refundable office fee. Double entries: Not accepted. NOTE: Incomplete entries, entries on the wrong forms, missing stabling forms, etc. will be cause for your entry to be delayed in acceptance. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay extra $25 with entry.  If over subscribed, priority will be given to USEA members. Refunds: Before C.D.-Less $25 non-refundable office fee; After C.D. Association fees only. Competition cancellation- Partial refund after expenses. If there are insufficient entries, entries will be accepted postmarked after CD.  All Canadian entries must be paid by certified cashiers check, US Dollars.  No personal checks accepted.  No entries accepted without payment in full included with their entry.

2. Tentative Schedule:

Thursday: Cross-country course open 3pm Fri: Dressage  8 am Sat: Cross-country 7:30 am. Sun: Show Jumping 9 am

3. Awards:

Prizes & ribbons per division to 10th place.

4. Starting Times:

Available September 29 after 12 noon. Will be posted at www.nw-equestrian.net or call Tammy Turner (360) 951-5617

5. Stabling/Veterinarian:

$100/stall from Noon Thurs. to Sunday pm. $30 haul-in fee per horse for non-stabled horses. Initial bedding only provided. Additional Bedding available for purchase, further info from organizer. Veterinarian: Equisport Medicine Northwest, Christin Finn, DVM ? (360) 297-3323.

6. Accommodations:

Ameritel Inn-15 mi., (360) 459-8866, Prairie Motel-7 mi., (360) 458-8300. Quality Inn & Suites - 15 mi. (360) 493-1991.. Camping: On grounds, no hook-ups.

7. Directions:

Address: 10048 Hwy 507 E, Rainer, WA 98576 From Portland I-5: Take exit 88A (Tenino) to Hwy. 507. Go through Tenino, site is 5 miles from Tenino on left - follow signs. From Seattle I-5: Exit 109; right on Martin Way, left on College. College becomes Rainier Rd. to 507. Right turn & follow signs.

8. Dressage:

Test & arena sizes: I-2006 USEF Intermediate Test A-Sm. P-2006 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. T-2006 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2006 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: Grass.

9. Cross-Country:

I-3025 m @ 550 mpm. P-2600 m @ 520 mpm. T-2200 m @ 420 mpm. N‑2000 m @ 300 mpm. BN-1600 m @ 350 mpm, max. height 2' 7". All courses: Average, for horses with some experience at this level. Terrain: varied, pastures/fields, woods, hills, and water. 

10. Other Information:

If stabling form or preference not included with entry, management will not accept special stall requests. Cross-country course closed Sept.10. Levels may be divided/combined as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food available on grounds. Dogs must be on a leash AT ALL TIMES, $25 fine will be involved if found by management off leash. $25 charge for entries postmarked after C.D. $30 charge for each class change after September 16.

Champagne Run at the Park Horse Trials Cancelled
Due to scheduling conflicts, the Champagne Run at the Park Horse Trials set to take place on July 10-11 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky has been cancelled. (May 17, 2010)
