1. Entries:
ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY CLOSING DATE! All entry fees include a $25 nonrefundable office fee. BN competitors who are not USEA members must pay an extra $25 nonmember fee. $20 charge for lost pinny - no deposit required. All changes/scratches must be made by email. Refunds: Before C.D.: Less $25 non-refundable office fee; after C.D.-Entry credit only given to next event until September 26, after September 26, no credit. Competition cancellation-No refund. Neg. Coggins not required. Change Fee: $25, for any changes made at anytime after closing date. Incomplete Entries: $15. USEA Young Event Horse: 4 yo division & 5 yo division $90 per entry. Entry form and additional information can be found online www.useventing.com or in the Omnibus. Same horse may also enter Horse Trials. CC Derby: $50 Dressage & Show Jumping Tests: $25 sign up First Come First Served Friday at Show Office!
2. Tentative Schedule:
Thurs: Barns open-noon. Fri: YEH 10 am; Test of Choice-12 pm to 4 pm (see other info.). Cross-country course opens-3 pm. CC Derby-9-11 am. Sat: Dressage-8 am; Show Jumping -10 am. Sun: Cross-country -8 am.
3. Awards:
Trophy and 7 ribbons per division.
4. Starting Times:
Available September 26 at www.horsepark.org.
5. Stabling/Veterinarian:
$115/stall from 12 pm Thursday to Noon on Monday. 360 temporary stalls on grounds. stall doors & initial bedding only provided. $50 - Trailer In Fee for the weekend. If horsepark member please mail a copy of your membership card. Feed/bedding/hay available for purchase, further info from the secretary. Veterinarian: TBD. # will be posted at show office.
6. Accommodations:
Creekside Inn, Palo Alto-5 mi., (650) 493-2411. Motel 6, Palo Alto-6mi., (650) 949-0833. Sheraton, Palo Alto-5 mi., (650) 328-2800 Camping: R.V. hook-ups w/ water hook-up only $30/day. No Tent Camping & open fires on the property.

Test & arena sizes: P-2006 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. T-2006 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2006 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas: Sand.
9. Cross-Country:
P-2700 m @ 520 mpm. T-2100 m @ 450 mpm. N-1800 m @ 400 mpm. BN-1500 m @ 350 mpm. All courses: Average, for horses/riders with some experience at these levels. CC Derby-Short course at 2'6" with water jump.
10. Other Information:
Cross-country courses closed September 16 at sundown. Levels may be divided as entries warrant; state preferences under the Eligible Section and birth date on entry. Food on grounds. Dogs must be leashed ? a $25 fine will be assessed for any dogs not on a lease. Team Competition: Teams of 3/4, best 3 scores to count, all team members at same level. $5/person. Party: Saturday night, 6 pm; Extra tickets-$15 per ticket. Tests of choice: Dressage Test=$25 per test: Levels BN-P; Show Jumping Test = $25 per test: Levels BN-P; Entries are on a first come first served basis sign up begins 9 on Friday. Estimate schedule: Dressage 12pm-4pm. Show Jumping BN 12pm-1pm; N 1pm-2pm, T 2pm-3pm, P 3pm-4pm. |
