Amateurs: A new reporting system is now in place to assist amateurs to earn a qualification for the AEC. Amateurs may move up if professionals occupy the top placings through 8th place.  Full details are on www.useventing.com .

Double entries: Not accepted. Liability releases must be signed before packet can be picked up. 2. Tentative Schedule:

Please check website www.aecatlamplight.org for more detailed schedule and current updates. Specific scheduling of divisions will depend on entry numbers at each level.
Wed 9/9:     Cross-Country courses open-3 pm.
Thurs 9/10:  Dressage; Cross-Country.
Fri.  9/11:     Dressage; Cross-Country.
Sat. 9/12:     Cross-Country; Show Jumping.
Sun. 9/13:    Show Jumping

3. Awards:

All divisions: 1st through 12th place ribbons, Prizes - see www.useventing.com for up to date listing of offered prize money, prizes and sponsors. Awards ceremony at end of each division

4. Starting Times:

Tentative ride times available by Monday, September 7 at www.aecatlamplight. org. Accepted entries available on www.aecatlamplight.org before September 1.

5. Stabling/Veterinarian:

Mandatory stabling $180 included in entry (includes one bag shavings first bedding, night watch and professional parking services). Tack Stall=$70. Permanent stalls with doors and some tent stabling. Additional bedding and feed available for purchase on the Lamplight grounds. Stabling opens Monday, September 8. Veterinarian: IL Equine Field Service (630) 365-0934. Number in stables and at Secretary's office.

6. Accommodations:

The Horse Trials' Host Hotels are the St. Charles Courtyard by Marriott (2 mi), The Holiday Inn Express St. Charles (2 miles), The Country Inn and Suites (4 mi), The Hilton Garden Inn (4 mi). All Hotels are offering special competition rates. For discounted motel reservations, call CONNECTIONS at (800) 262-9974 or visit their website at www.equestriantravel.com. Check http://www.aecatlamplight.org/DirLodge/dirlodge.htm for list of area motels and off site camping facilities.
Camping: On site. RV sites with electric hook-ups-$350.00 for duration; camper sites, no hook-ups-$100.00 for duration. Include payment and reservation with entry. OFF SITE PARKING MAY BE IMPLEMENTED FOR THOSE WITHOUT CAMPER RESERVATIONS.

From North: I-90 west to Rte 59 south, 9 mi. to west (right) Stearns Rd. Left at end of Stearns on Dunham Rd. Immediate right after crossing a RR overpass to Lamplight Eq. Ctr show grounds, stabling is first driveway on the right.
From South: I-88 west to north on Farnsworth. Farnsworth becomes Kirk Rd then becomes Dunham Rd. Lamplight Eq. Ctr. on left about 20 miles north of I-88 and 1.5 miles north of Army Trail Rd, stabling entrance is third driveway on the left.

8. Dressage:

Test & arena size: A-2006 USEF Advanced Test B-Std; I-2006 USEF Intermediate Test C-Std. P-2006 USEF Preliminary Test B-Sm. T-2006 USEF Training Test B-Sm. N-2006 USEF Novice Test B-Sm. BN-2006 USEF Beginner Novice Test B-Sm. Arenas & warm-up: all weather.

9. Cross-Country:

A-3800m @570mpm. I-3200m @ 550 mpm. P-2800m @ 520 mpm. T-2400m @ 470 mpm. N-2000m @ 400 mpm. BN-1900 @ 350 mpm. All courses: Rolling prairie land. All levels to size, moderate technicality. 2 water complexes all levels, coffin, trakehner, ditches. Aeravated footing at all levels.

10. Other Information:

The cross country courses are located on public land owned by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. We are privileged to be allowed to use this land. Following are two rules set down by the County, and your cooperation with them will be very much appreciated.
1. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED ON FOREST PRESERVE LAND - EVER.
2. EXCEPT FOR GOLF CARTS FOR WHICH WE HAVE A PERMIT, NO UNLICENSED MOTORIZED VEHICLES ARE ALLOWED ON FOREST PRESERVE LAND. THIS INCLUDES UNLICENSED DIRT BIKES AND ATV'S THAT MANY OF YOU USE TO "WALK" COURSES WITH. GOLF CARTS ARE RESTRICTED TO DESIGNATED AREAS.
Cross country courses close at sundown August 17.
Parties are casual attire and on the Lamplight Equestrian Center Grounds.  Welcome party - Thursday night. Competitors party - Saturday night. Trade Fair on site.
Dogs must be leashed or confined.

Due to scheduling conflicts, the Champagne Run at the Park Horse Trials set to take place on July 10-11 at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky has been cancelled. (May 17, 2010)
