Rick Dunkerton, secretary NOTE: Anyone entering after August 20 and paying by check must provide a credit card back up. All USEA/Bit of Britain AEC Divisions are Restricted to AEC Qualified Horses and Riders. Amateurs: A new reporting system is now in place to assist amateurs to earn a qualification for the AEC. Amateurs may move up if professionals occupy the top placings through 8th place. Full details are on www.useventing.com . For the first time Championship Points will be earned at the AEC - see the new point scale only for the AEC on www.useventing.com

Double entries: Not accepted. Liability releases must be signed before packet can be picked up. 2. Tentative Schedule:
Please check website www.aecatlamplight.org for more detailed schedule and current updates. Specific scheduling of divisions will depend on entry numbers at each level.
3. Awards:
All divisions: 1st through 12th place ribbons, Prizes - see www.useventing.com for up to date listing of offered prize money, prizes and sponsors. Awards ceremony at end of each division
4. Starting Times:
Tentative ride times available by Monday, September 7 at www.aecatlamplight. org. Accepted entries available on www.aecatlamplight.org before September 1.
5. Stabling/Veterinarian:
Mandatory stabling $180 included in entry (includes one bag shavings first bedding, night watch and professional parking services). Tack Stall=$70. Permanent stalls with doors and some tent stabling. Additional bedding and feed available for purchase on the Lamplight grounds. Stabling opens Monday, September 8. Veterinarian: IL Equine Field Service (630) 365-0934. Number in stables and at Secretary's office.
6. Accommodations:
The Horse Trials' Host Hotels are the St. Charles Courtyard by Marriott (2 mi), The Holiday Inn Express St. Charles (2 miles), The Country Inn and Suites (4 mi), The Hilton Garden Inn (4 mi). 9. Cross-Country:
A-3800m @570mpm. I-3200m @ 550 mpm. P-2800m @ 520 mpm. T-2400m @ 470 mpm. N-2000m @ 400 mpm. BN-1900 @ 350 mpm. All courses: Rolling prairie land. All levels to size, moderate technicality. 2 water complexes all levels, coffin, trakehner, ditches. Aeravated footing at all levels.

The cross country courses are located on public land owned by the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County. We are privileged to be allowed to use this land. Following are two rules set down by the County, and your cooperation with them will be very much appreciated. |
